Presidents, prime ministers, and other dignitaries have started to gather in the country on Wednesday for the funeral of the late Secretary General of the United Nation, Kofi Annan.
So far, Ethiopian president, Dr Mulato Teshome; Nigerien Prime Minister, Brigi Rafini; Namibian president, Hage Geingob; Angolan Vice-president and Bonito Desousa Baltaza Diogo.
Also, the representative of Qatar president, Thani Hamad Khalifa Hamad Al-Thani and the Sierra Leone president, Julius Maada Bio have touched down to pay their last respect to the global icon.
The remains of the former UN Secretary General arrived in Ghana from Switzerland, where he passed on Monday. On Thursday, a solemn burial service and final interment will be held.
