NPP National Youth Organizer Contest: Symbols, Slogans And Funfairs Versus Lofty Policies

Are you a member of the NPP Youthwing?Are you a delegate? Are you a Youth Organiser or TESCON president?Whom are vest with the power to choose our National Youth Organiser?

Then I have a message for you, which should help you make an informed choice.

To start with, are you aware that some National Youth organiser Aspirants have no plans or policy for the Youths?Because In their entire campaign trails, nowhere have they made mention of any laudable policies for the youths.

They are NOT pledging anything for our Youths. They really DO NOT CARE about you. This is because they think that you are NOT discerning enough and that, you will vote for them no matter how they disregard you,and thereby being too fixated and obsessed with Signs, Symbols and Funfairs.Whiles some are ranting on top of their voices calling for God intervention by shouting "Nyame Nsa Womu" but busily making Symbols and posing in pictures without any laudable policy to improve the lots of the youths, but call themselves the "Poor Replacement" #PR, sorry "Perfect Replacement",others are also tauting "The Job dey ground" when from all indication they are not visible but boast to be "Fake Marshall" #FM,sorry "Field Marshall".

Are you also aware that some aspirants are ready to induce you with money and dump you later? but they have forgotten you delegates are discerning and smarter than them and will not sell your conscience for incompetency and mediocrity.

I am sure you will show them your anger by voting for the Aspirant with lofty policies for the youths.

On the other hand,from the survey done among the National Youth Organiser aspirants reveals that,one Kamaldeen Abdulai,the incumbent National Nasara coordinator has shown enough commitments and lofty policies.

For instance, unlike some aspirants,he has dedicated much of his time to talk extensively about how he intend to transform the fortunes of our Youths with the establishment of:

1.An ultramodern Youth Secretariat complex,
because he recognizes the fact that over the years,due to some challenges the youths have been ‘left behind’ in national development planning,therefore getting a Youth Secretariat complex,will among others help collate relevant data of the youths for policy direction,and also serve as where the youths will feel comfortable and walk in at anytime to inquire,Complain and report grievances for the necessary steps to be taken to address it accordingly.

2.Getting scholarships and job opportunities for the youths both in the country and outside,

The policy is thus, aimed at developing the youths in order to unleash their full potentials.In this direction, then he will advocate for getting jobs,education and training among other things,by linking them up to government policies.

These aspirant in the person of Kamal-deen Abdulai,again proposes to mobilise and Nurture TESCON for leadership and Job opportunities,by recommending them to government appointees as personal Aides and assistants,and among other lofty policies.

Don't be deceived by slogans,symbols and funfairs coupled with Fake prophecies and endorsements by some non delegates,which is a semblance of the NDC campaign in 2016 and thereby leading them to their unprecedented electoral defeat,when they were in a very comfortable lead and cruising to victory with slogans,symbols and fun fairs.Whiles the NPP were giving lofty and mouth watering promises like the Free SHS,1 district 1 factory,Zongo development fund etc.

Therefore drawing lessons from the above thought provoking comparism,Lets all support the aspirant with laudable policies like Kamal-deen Abdulai,the (Commander General)as I choose to call him because of his multilingual nature, with General Knowledge and command on all subject matters,be it Law, Governance,Social,Political as well as Religious.

I am, in the light of this, calling on all delegates across the country to rise up to the occasion and say a big no to the culture of mediocrity; No to Signs,Symbols and Funfairs, by voting for Kamaldeen Abdulai a call to Serve leader with lofty policies, tried and tested with evidenced based proven track records like the Zongo Development fund policy,for Solid Representation to improve upon what his predecessors did.
