The Amerley Adjaidoo Heart of Kindness Foundation on Thursday donated books, dictionaries and medical gloves to two schools and a polyclinic in the Odododiodio Constituency in Accra.

In all, 110 children selected from the Accra Royal School at Ngleshie and St. Mary's Anglican Primary School at James Town benefitted from the donation.

Each child received a dictionary and an English reading book to help them to cultivate the habit of reading during and after school hours.

The Foundation also donated 5000 pieces of medical gloves to the Usher Polyclinic at Akoto Lante to support healthcare delivery.

Mr Adjaidoo Amartefio, the Country Director of the Foundation, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, said since the establishment of the Foundation in 2016, it had made annual donations to improve on education and healthcare delivery in the community.

He said education, health and employment made the individual complete hence the Foundation's resolve to contribute towards improving those three areas for people in the community.

'My vision for the community is triangular; namely education, health and employment, which are linked together,' he said.

He gave the assurance that the Foundation would continue to support the education and health of the people as part of efforts to improve their living standards.

The Amerley Adjaidoo Foundation was established by Mr Adjaidoo Amartefio and his siblings in memory of their late grandmother, Madam Amerley Amartefio, a philanthropist who lived in the community.
