UEW At The Mercy Of Failed Academics: The AG VC And Council Chairman In Mind

Within the legal fraternity, they always espouse that “Justice Delayed is Justice Denied” and I hope all those with UEW at heart are currently witnessing the sad events on the campus following the injunction put on the legally appointed FO and Vice Chancellor. It is worrying for some of us as products of this noble institution to see the injustices that continue to gain roots daily in a growing university as UEW. I hope all the caricatures fuelling the dirty ambitions of a failed Catholic priest to be a VC at all cost are watching and can see where the university is heading towards. Let us first consider the legal perspective of the case. It is sad and regrettable that all the reliefs that the judge relied on before granting the injunction have been withdrawn from the Winneba High Court by Hon. Alex Afenyo Markin. Amount so many reliefs (a-m), the reliefs that he is seeking a ruling on now include:

1. A declaration that the extension of the mandate of the Governing Council of the 1st Respondent by the 2nd respondent to stay in office to perform such functions as a properly appointed council was in breach of Section 8 Act 672.
2. A declaration that no authority or institution of state has any power to extend the tenure of a member of the Governing Council of the 1^st Respondent unless such extension is in accordance with Act 672
3. A declaration that all appointments made by the defunct Governing Council which constituted themselves as the Governing Council of the 1^st Respondent by virtue of the directives of the 2^nd Respondent are null and void and of no legal effect
4. A declaration that all decisions taken by the defacto body of persons who constituted themselves as Governing Council is null and void and of no legal effect.

6. A declaration that the Memorandum of Understanding between Ghana Highway Authority and the 1^st Respondent was a sham and used as a decoy to embezzle public funds. My Question: Was Avoke VC then?

1. A declaration that the illegally appointed Principal Officers of the 1^st Respondent wilfully misappropriated public funds by failing to put to public tender for the construction of the North campus road and thereby causing financial loss to the state. My Question: Was Avoke VC then?

Why is the injunction still in place? This has allowed this failed catholic priest and academic to continue to perpetuate injustice on the University campus. When I passed through the campus a few days ago, I lamented over the division that this wicked hearted man together with his innocent servants have brought to a university where people were once together. There is suspicion at its peak and nobody seems to trust the other yet this man is still allowed to serve mass and some Catholics even take HOLY BREAD FROM HIM…this is indeed sad! The numbers in your church is fast reducing, yet that is not your concern. Where is the Oath you swore at your ‘ordination?’ You can deceive your colleagues that you scored the highest mark at the interview but for political reasons you claim Prof Mawutor Avoke was considered over you, but you know deeply that records can be referred to. This was the misinformation you gave when you were asked for details on the UEW saga. You keep painting your ignorance by suggesting that you are only doing what a court has asked you to do. I pray for this issue to come to an end and I shall make public the videos of all satanic things you and your people do when darkness takes over light on the campus. Innocent ones such as Bawah are desperately trying to defend people they know little about. Sooner, he (Bawah) shall get to know the mistakes he made on UEW campus. Do not attempt to ask why we call you a failed academic, Rev Afful-Broni. Before the Winneba High Court mysteriously assigned you the title ‘Ag-VC’ which I am told is even in conflict with University Statues, if your name was heard, then it was in connection with Church activities, most money-oriented such as Harvest, mention them. Secondly, I Victor K. Owusu dare challenge you that there is no single external assessment of yours in all ‘promotions’ you have had in the University that really was good enough to have earned you the requested promotions. The reports I intercepted on your promotions indicate that right from your promotion from senior lecturer to the mysterious ‘FOOL’ PROFESSOR you currently have, the Appointment and Promotions Board would always have to say ‘Let us give it to him’. You publish in journals that are only known by you and yet you won’t hide yourself. Anytime I chance on you on campus, I laugh at you because you simply are not a happy man. God is watching you and your wicked heart. The malice you continue to show on campus shall follow on you for the rest of your life. You need repentance and I mean it when I say this. Because of your ambitions to be a VC, you see the chaos you have brought to the University? As for your colleague, the Effutu MP (Freemason Treacherous Devil Incarnate Alex Afenyo Markin) who went to mess up at the Supreme Court during the hearing of a certiorari and prohibition application against the Winneba High Court on October 26, 2017, I leave him for now. I shall return to him in subsequent write-ups. You, Rev Afful-Broni financed the other ethnocentric bigots like Dandy, Antwi Danso, Braako (who have all benefited from your distribution of the University’s cake) to go to the Supreme Court and misbehave? No wonder Dandy had to quickly get to you at the Manaheight hotel in Mankesim after their dismissal to play melodies for you since you could neither eat nor drink. In his company was Amponsah who is one of your treacherous supporters. This was the problem you caused yourself when you lost by scoring the lowest mark when you challenged Professors such as Prof Avoke to become a VC. Compare his assessment reports with yours, and you could even make them public as you did of his Vouchers a few weeks ago. There we would see you will hide your face as a ‘FOOL’ professor. May God touch your heart to get some humility into yourself and appreciate that you have been ‘pushed’ to where you are and not promoted like the Professor you are competing with.

Those who think that everything is fine in UEW are tickling themselves and laughing. Anyone who is in support of the Ag. VC (Who is a disgraced to Professorship and Priesthood) of UEW is an idiot. Morons like Bawah will always write nonsense and try to shield the truth. In an article written by Bawah titled “Why Some Public Officers Fail in Ghana; the Case of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW)“, he tried to paint a good picture of the Ag. VC so that the black CASSOCK the Ag. VC is wearing will be white in the eyes of students and his church members. Bawah claimed that “It is heartwarming that the Acting VC, Rev. Fr. Prof. Afful-Broni, recently paid unannounced visits to all the halls, and measures are now being put in place to address the defects at the halls. May the Good Lord continue to guide and bless the selfless Acting VC of UEW!” Bawah, it is a lie and let me tell you that you are been used stupidly to let right thinking students and staff think that Rev. Fr. Prof. BLACK CASSOCK MAN Afful-Broni is a good person. Was it not Avoke and co that instituted the 6000-bed capacity project for students that is now stalled because of a self-seeking MP of Effutu? Bawah also wrote that “It is apparent from the above that it is nothing but outright greed that gave birth to the current legal impasse at UEW.” If someone is greedy then it is Rev. Fr. Prof. BLACK CASSOCK MAN Afful-Broni. He is currently the Pro VC and at the same time Ag. VC (Which was not through consensus of UEW governing council) and sometimes, he will be chairing 2 meetings at the same time by shuttling between them and take sitting allowances for both. Bawah needs to reapply to be a lecturer and after that, he should be taken through an orientation on financial matters of UEW. Bawah has refused to read the UEW’s financial regulations and write anything that passes through his anus as financial irregularities in UEW. No wonder, he is learning from Assoc. Prof. Abakah (a failed Professor himself and one that has no legacy on UEW campus after several years of victimising colleagues and students). This is the man who has been trumpeting corruption and malfeasance in UEW. Your Excellency, Nana Addo-Danquah, you have been deceived by Hon. Alex Afenyo Markin and co that there are a lot of corruption and malfeasance going on in UEW and that Assoc. Prof. Abakah should be made the council chairman to correct all the allegations. The council chair, Assoc. Prof. Abakah is rather milking UEW through sitting allowances. If he checks his pockets and he has no kwacha, or he receives his utility bills and sees that there is no financial hope, then he would call for an emergency council meeting. Yesterday, October 25, 2017, council sat for only 20 minutes and allowances were paid. Within two months, he has called 7 emergency and 2 general council meetings. The meetings too are not towards resolving the current impasse at UEW. I pray that the current government headed by Nana Addo-Danquah will let Assoc. Prof. Abakah relinquishes his position as the chairman of the governing council of UEW.

We wondered why they chose you Prof Abakah to help our Alma Mater as a council Chairman. You hate Prof Avoke just because he is an Ewe, yet he has trained so many PhDs and MPhils who are serving in various capacities in this university. That is the true legacy of a Professor. I hope you would soon name the PhD and Mphil/MA holders you trained while you were at this university. We only remember you for taking our school fees as responsibility allowances as HoD, Dean and the ProVC you won through a tribal war as you are known for. You keep trumpeting at every university gathering that you have come to fight corruption, yet you are calling for meetings always to drain the University’s coffers. I hope you stop this cheap talk else I shall dig deeper and petition the President of Ghana on your appointment. Also remember that as much as you call for meetings to make money, never let that make you forget your regular medical appointments…yoooo…I hope you know what I MEAN!

For the Deputy Registrars, accept my condolences! When most insiders including well-thinking alumni like me, took up the task to fight injustice, you thought we envied this mistakenly ordained Catholic Priest. You see the Council Chairman has denied all of you the opportunity to serve as registrar and has launched another tribal missile by bringing on Osei-Braimah as Registrar. This is a man I am told ran away from the University. Even more worrying is the fact that he cannot construct two sentences in English without facing troubles. When I intercepted his acceptance letter, I imagined the doom that awaits this University. Even coherence in writing is as problematic for him as what you and I have been managing from Salifu Alhassan Bawah. For me in my little corner, I expect him to enjoy his position only as much as those who brought him.

Professor Ameyaw, you only came to your senses when you were warned that you needed to be careful since you were a potential Pro VC Nominee!! It is sad that your change is this situational. Fortunately, we have gotten to know your true colour already. As for Prof Kankam, since he is nearing retirement after probably managing his age, I leave him in peace today.

I would end by telling Salifu Alhassan Bawah to stop attacking innocent people on suspicion. I am Victor K. Owusu (an Alumnus of UEW). If you were a product of this institution, I am sure you might have taught in same way as I do. Braako, good luck in your foolishness. You are being used but you have had your donation already as another ‘senior lecturer’ in the system.

Lest I forget, I chanced on a WhatsApp in circulation and it is worth to share the tweaked version with you. Rev. Fr. Prof. BLACK CASSOCK MAN Afful-Broni, Nana Ghartey, C/R House of Chief President, all led by Assoc. Prof. Abakah, went to see the President last week for him to make Rev. Fr. Prof. BLACK CASSOCK MAN Afful-Broni VC. The President told them he doesn't appoint VC'S so they should go and follow the University's procedures. So, they left with disappointment. The new plan of Rev. Fr. Prof. BLACK CASSOCK MAN Afful-Broni and Devil Incarnate Alex Afenyo Markin is to send people to come and arrest Prof. Avoke and humiliate him for nothing. Since they know the arrest would not last for long, the next thing is to send armed men to attack and finish him. This is their new plan because they have lost it all so claim they will not allow him to come back either. Since these plans have leaked, the council chairman has to be forced to call for an emergency meeting today, October 31, 2017 to rule that some officers, including VC and FO should be asked to step aside for investigation to continue. Is UEW governing council an investigative agency? I pray that this their last plan will fail. Today's emergency meeting is called because they are aware that the supreme court ruling comes next week Wednesday may bring new dimensions so they have to use all means to prevent the VC and the FO to return to work.
