The Regional Director of NADMO, Kwabena Nsenkyire, speaking with Citi News, said “NADMO is helping the school. The situation is a very sad one, so NADMO is helping with 60 mattresses, 90 mosquito nets, and some bowls and cups they will eat and drink from.”
The Headmaster of the school, Abdullah Ayuub, said the students were asked to go home a day after the incident.

“We were to have our midterms in two weeks' time, but because of this unfortunate incident, we have asked them to go home rather, and come back next week.”
“We are calling on government, philanthropist and individuals to come to the aid of the school, it is very unfortunate, if the students return and nothing has been done, it will be a very big challenge.”
