Amidu's Folder: Tickling The Genesis Of Negro Colonialism

Feature Article Amidu's Folder: Tickling The Genesis Of Negro Colonialism
MAY 15, 2017 LISTEN

After the era of slavery, our necks were hooked with the chain of colonialism and soon it was replaced by another, the menacle of the enslavement of the minds of the Blackman. A whiteman once said to change a man all you needed to do was to change his culture and his religion, the whole being is altered. A minute I spent with a man changed my opinion about the bible, it made me think, but I would not replace God with any knowledge, however sharing is caring.

I asked this bearded young man who looked like Plato or perhaps Aristotle painted black in portrait, he seemed to be quite astute and convincing, I asked him why he had decided to abandon the church and acted blasphemous.

He looked at me and grinned as if I sounded like the comedian Mr.Bin and behaved ridiculous and I already knew the answer to the question I posed to him. As he opened his mouth as a writer I was quick to notice," this whole system was meant for political purposes, to keep the people into a basket. I had the strongest memory ever to register his words in my head.

It was purely orchestrated to control the black race, as the man with the dark skin was never ready to bury his culture and traditions in the grave, this explains why the whites are not religious. A mathematical expression he made provoked my thinking, with his hands propelled in the air to represent the equation he said, African culture and traditions was equivalent to not being controlled. The African was ready to defend his lands until his final breath had ceased, with this the white man knew of it.

If the Africanman defended his people by sacrificing his head how sure was the Caucasian going to be that he could overpower and take control of such a man and everything he owned. Only the narrow minded would say the religion of the blackman taught them human sacrifice.

They were meant to control and prevent crimes from existing in the lands. The communities were peaceful as people feared committing crimes. They obviously had systems of laws engraved in their hearts which was hardly breached. Sometimes people were banished from their lands as a punishment much stronger than contemporary imprisonment with hard labour.

People feared disobeying laws because they could not bear the harsh punishments, this was the roots of their peaceful nature.

The whiteman came to this lands and saw this system, the people and their traditions, culture, religion were inseparable monuments. If the people cannot be changed why not do justice to something which is related to them and binds them together. That was the beginning of the introduction of the bible and the church, something quite strange to the darkskinned man.

He made a point that christianity came along during the times of slavery and yet in the castles where slaves were kept awaiting exportation, churches were built above the dungeons where men were made to defecate in the same room they were fed and sometimes people died and decayed in the same room meant for the living. If the motive of the white was to spread christianity, what of the scripture that spoke of love, was it at that time blank in the holy bible.

Another critical argument was also made against the bible, he reiterated that the bible was entirely inspired by the Deity yet it had harboured lots of errors which had occurred during its translation from its original manuscript, such as the name of God which is written YHWH in the hebrews language which represents YAHWEH is not found virtually in most bibles, and a whole lots of sentences which meant different as a result of the translation.

He said Christians were blinded by the blindfold of ignorance and they only saw their doctrines right in their own spectacles. We should understand a simple fact, that the translation was done by people who were driven by their religious beliefs and binded by their churches and it could be deduced that what they translated had to suit their doctrines, it is natural to think they had affection for their churches.

This argument against the bible led to another murderous accusation against the different doctrines. With a clap of his hands he said christians are confused as a cat in water, they have a common leader and surprisingly their doctrines and explanations of the bible are different. He founded it as a problem if he had followed such a perplexed individual and it is written in their scriptures two blind individuals were doomed if one of them acted as a leader.

The trinity is also a fallacy in the bible and this also dispute most of the christians.

Another point that widened my eyes was his opinion about Jesus Christ which I will describe as unprecedented in my opinion. "Jesus had gone to Asian (india) to get enlightenment, he emphasized that the bible lost the record of the teenage life of Jesus Christ, therefore it could be reasonable to say Christ was a product of the teachings of Buddha in Asian, meaning He went to Asian for enlightenment,. He pinpointed that Buddha who had existed years before Jesus Christ, walked on the sea, healed the sick and virtually performed all the miracles that was done by Christ. He reinforced this by saying a record existed in India that Jesus Christ had visited India to follow the same path of Buddha.
