First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo poses with Harriet San-Koffie and her family members

Seven-year-old girl Harriet San-Koffie, her family members, opinion leaders, pastor and church elders from Bortiano-Ngleshie-Amanfrom paid a courtesy call on First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo to thank her for helping save her life.

The first lady last year paid the full cost of heart surgery for little Harriet, a hole-in-heart patient, whom she met on a visit to Amanfrom.

The mother, Mercy San-Koffie, disclosed that had it not been for the help of Mrs Akufo-Addo, little Harriet would have died.

According to her, they sought help from everywhere, but to no avail. Madam Mercy asked for God's blessings upon the first lady and prayed she continues to help the needy in the society.

Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo who was clearly joyous to see little Harriet full of life, asked for God's help to enable her to help others like little Harriet.

She asked Ghanaians to continue to pray for the president to make him succeed, to make Ghana better for all.
