Accra, Aug. 20, GNA - The death is announced of Mr Albert Adomakoh a former Governor of the Bank of Ghana in the First Republic, on August 16, 2016.
He was aged 94 years.
Mr Adomako, who was the founding Managing Director of the National Investment Bank, also served as Commissioner for Agriculture in the government of the National Liberation Council.
He was also a former Assistant Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations and a Director of Investments at the World Bank.
He is survived by his wife Fitnat, five children and extended family members.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
