Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South Constituency, Hon. Fritz Baffour says he is confident President John Dramani Mahama will win hands down in the upcoming November, 7 polls.
According to him, the President’s gargantuan achievements during his first tenure of office are clear evidence for the electorates to retain him in office for the second term come January, 2017.
He was speaking at the official launching of an NDC youth group called ‘Organized Youth for Mahama and Oko’ (OYOMO).
OYOMO is an NDC community based youth campaign group formed with the aim of mobilizing the youth within Ablekuma South Constituency to go out and evangelize to win souls for President Mahama and the NDC parliamentary aspirant of the area to win.
The event which took place at the Neighborhood Centre in Mamprobi a suburb of Accra witnessed a massive turn up of NDC sympathizers, youths as well as some party big wigs in attendance.
Various leaders, who took turns to address the gathering, charged the youth to be united under one umbrella in order to galvanize support and mobilize the youth to vigorously campaign for President John Dramani Mahama as well as the NDC parliamentary aspirant for Ablekuma South Constituency, Dr. Alfred Oko Vanderpuye to win massively in the November 7 polls.
Leader of OYOMO, Mr. Nii Gideon Hammond in an interview said the rationale behind the formation of the group was organize the youth under one umbrella ‘to move out and evangelize so as to win souls’ for President John Mahama and the NDC towards a resounding victory in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections slated for November 7. He urges all youths within the constituency to join the group towards realization of dreams.
Meanwhile, Dr. Alfred Oko Vanderpuye, the NDC aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma South Constituency in an interview with Journalists said he is confident of winning the seat for NDC in the upcoming polls due to the massive records of achievements chalked by the incumbent MP (his predecessor) of the area.
