Hearts of Oak have sacked defender Philip Boampong ahead of the closure of the transfer window, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
Sources within the club say the technical staff weren't satisfied with his performances at the G6 tournament in Sekondi a fortnight ago.
Boampong has been with the Phobians since 2010 and was a member of the Ghana's U17 team at the 2007 FIFA U17 World Cup in South Korea.
He has been training with Dreams FC but some quarters have linked with to Wa All Stars.
