The New Patriotic Party's National Council has appointed former National Chairman, Mr Peter Mac Manu, to lead the party's 2016 campaign team.
Mr Mac Manu's appointment was made at a National Council meeting on Wednesday.
The party's flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, had nominated Mr Mac Manu for the Council's endorsement.
Mr. Mac Manu had been leading the party's electoral reform agenda working closely with the Electoral Commission.
Also in the team is the Member of Parliament for Okere in the Eastern Region and former General Secretary Mr Dan Botwe.
Former Chief Executive of Data Bank, Mr Ken Ofori Atta will lead the logistics team with support from party stalwart, Mr Boakye Agyarko.
The Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Boahen, made this known after the Council's meeting on Wednesday. He spoke to Accra based radio station, Joy FM
