Kotoko and Everpure Ghana Limited have renewed the corporate relationship, which will see the mineral water producing company sponsoring the Porcupine Warriors for the next three years.
The new deal takes retrospective effect from November 1, 2014. The two parties have the option of renewing their business pact for another year when the current one ends.
The renewal sees Everpure Ghana Limited sticking to the monthly GHȼ2,500 they were paying to Kotoko in the previous contract, except that this time, Kotoko will get a share from every bottle of Everpure mineral water sold during home matches.
Communications Manager, Kwaku Ahenkorah who disclosed this to Asantekotokosc.com in an interview expressed Kotoko's delight. He stressed management's commitment to building good relations with the club's sponsors for mutual benefit.
General Manager of Everpure Ghana Limited, Emmanuel Assare-Moakwah also shared his company's happiness. 'We are happy to have extended this contract,'' he said.
''Everpure has been in existence for a while now but it was not until a few years ago that, we decided to get into a marriage with Kotoko. I can confess that we have not regretted our decision at all.
''The past three years have been very productive for the two institutions. We would want the productivity to continue,'' he added. The General Manager encouraged Kotoko fans to patronize Everpure products everywhere. ''We thank the numerous Kotoko supporters for quenching their thirst during matches with none other than Everpure.
'They have more good reasons to refresh themselves with Everpure on match days at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Every bottle of Everpure they buy during matches in Kumasi now comes with a token for the club. We pray for a stronger and a long-lasting affinity between the two institutions'' added Emmanuel Assare-Moakwah.
