Nkawie (Ash), July 16, GNA - Mr James Adusei Sarkodie, Member of Parliament for Atwima-Nwabiagya has released 160 million cedis being part of his common fund and GETfund for projects in the constituency. The amount would be used for the construction, rehabilitation and renovation of a number of schools in the area.
The projects include the construction of a primary school at Abuakwa, the renovation of the Ahodwo Roman Catholic Primary School, the rehabilitation of the Hiawu-Besease Local Authority Primary School, and the construction of teachers quarters, three classroom blocks with a common room, a place of convenience and a library.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at the projects site at Nkawie last Friday, Mr Adusei Sarkodie said he has also donated 100 bags of cement to the Nkawie-Kumah community to mould blocks for the construction of their Anglican Primary School.
He said he had rehabilitated the Atwima-Koforidua Primary School and appealed to those communities, which have not yet benefited to be patient, since they would not be left out in the distribution of projects.
