
Baffour Gyan, elder brother of Black Stars captain,Asamoah Gyan has been granted bail after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a reporter with the Graphic Communication Group, Daniel Kenu.
Baffuor, a former Black Stars player, turned himself in after the police declared him wanted over his alleged involvement in the incident.
Public Relations Officer of the Ashanti Regional Police ASP Mohammed Tanko told Joynews that a surety brought by Baffour Gyan was arrested after the police discovered that the surety is also a suspect in the case.
Baffour had to bring another surety. He is however expected to report to the police on Monday to assist in investigations into the case.
ASP Tanko said the police is on the look out for two other persons mentioned by Kenu to have assaulted him.
