
Books of condolence have been opened for the late Mr. Hayford Akrofi, a leading member of the Convention People's Party (CPP) who was shot and killed early Monday morning.
Mr. HayfordAkrofi, an architect and staunch member of the CPP was murdered in cold blood at his residence in Ofankor by armed men.
The CPP has opened a book of condolence at its headquarters in Asylum Down which is available to the public from 8:00am to 5pm.
The other book of condolence provided by the immediate and extended family is available at the former Chester's Lounge at Nyaniba Estates in Osu near Katawodieso Park for well-wishers and sympathisers.
Mr. Akrofi hails from Tutu-Akwapim in the Eastern Region. He died at 64 and was survived by a wife and three children.The deceased until his death has been living with his family in the United Kingdom before he returned to Ghana recently.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has begun investigations to track down the murderers and bring them to book.
