United Congolese Party Makes Crucial Appointment In Foreign Affairs Plank

Washington, DC May 5, 2014—The United Congolese Party announces that it has filled an important position as it prepares for the Presidential Elections that are scheduled to take place in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2016.

The Person that has been appointed by President Christian Malanga is Mr. Kando Bongoman. Mr. Bongoman is also one of the most popular soukous Musicians in Africa. He has been the lead singer for Orchestra Belle Mambo in 1973 before relocating to Paris in 1979 and launching a career as a very successful solo artist. One of the Highlights of His Career was playing at the UK venue for the Live 8 show in 2005.

In a short manner of time Kando will meet with the Representatives of several regional partners to discuss Human Rights and other concerns within the Democratic Republic of the Congo. These meetings are a huge step being taken by the party as it prepares for the upcoming election cycle in the DRC.

Since its launch in 2013 the United Congolese Party has emerged with a strong base in the various Social Media Platforms available. The goal of the party is to give the youth of the Country which have been shunned in recent elections not only a viable option but also a voice into how the Country is run.
