Schalke 04 boss Jens Keller has fielded Ghana star midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng in his team to face Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.
Keller said on Friday the 26-year-old faces a long-term injury crisis but he has gone ahead to include him in his squad to face the Prussians at the Veltins Arena.
Boateng lasted 70 minutes for the Royal Blues in their defeat to Chelsea in the Uefa Champions League and Schalke manager Keller revealed the midfielder asked to be replaced.
