
President John Mahama and his wife, Lordina, are expected in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, on Sunday ahead of a lecture Monday on Democratic Governance & Development in Ghana as a model for Africa at the Kennesaw State University.
President Mahama's lecture will be the third after his lecture and interaction with faculty, students and alumni of the Columbia and New York Universities.
Monday's programme at Kennesaw will include a meeting with the Senior Leadership of the University and a student showcase of innovative programmes with connections to Ghana and Africa.
While in Atlanta, President Mahama will also meet with Chief Executives of major corporations, facilitated by the World Affairs Council of Atlanta and a business networking and investment session hosted by the Ghana International Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Mahama and his wife will visit the Centre for Disease Control and meet a group of international leaders in national public health.
The president will also host a press conference with national and international media in Atlanta and will be a guest on CNN International, and its new media section, CNN Digital.
