Danquah-Busia Tradition/NLM/NRC/UP/NPP = A Political Party With A Terrible History Of Tribalism/Ethnocentrism

Before I proceed,I want to give the following preambles;

1. Tribalism is a strong royalty that people feel for the group they belong to,combined with the feeling of disliking all other groups. This is a fact,not conjecture!

2. The Akan is a large group made up of the Fante,the Brong,the Banda,the Wassa,the Assin,the Akyem,the Asante,the Akwamu,the Denkyira,the Twifo and the Sefwi. This is a fact,not conjecture!

3. The Akan constitute about 45% of the Ghanaian populace. This is a fact,not conjecture!

4. The antecedents of the NPP had the original Taxonomy called Danquah-Busia-Dombo Tradition. Where Danquah represented the Akyem Block,Busia represented the Ashante Block and Dombo represented the Northern and the Volta Block. This is a fact,not conjecture!

5. This Tradition was set up to enable them garner votes from all the Regions in Ghana. This is not fiction,it is a fact!

Tabling this article on the above preambles,I want to ask;what do we hear and see today ?

The answer is clear; the NPP has succeeded in erasing the Dombo part of the Taxonomy or equation from their books because of TRIBALISM.

What we hear now is Danquah-Busia Tradition. Where is the Dombo ?

That is why they have what is called Danquah Institute headed by a TRIBAL BIGOT(Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko). They also formed the Danquah-Busia Memorial Club without finding any expression to take Dombo into consideration. What is this? TRIBALISM !

How could we have had a political party which would hold a press conference condemning Dr Kwame Nkrumah who tabled a motion to declare the sovereignty and the INDEPENDENCE of this country in 1954 ?

Busia did that because Nkrumah was not an Ashante nor an Akyem but from Nkroful.

What is this ? TRIBALISM!
How could we have had a main opposition leader in the person of Nana Addo who would mount a platform and say that "y3n Akanfuor de3 y3se mogya dum y3n a na ya paa ba....y3 k)) Atiwa no y3 kyer33 biribi kakra w) h)...hahahahaha" ?

Nana Addo said this at the time when he knows Late Mills who was a Fante was an Akan too.

So what necessitated that TRIBALISTIC comment made by Nana Addo?

Are they now reducing the NPP party to an Akyem/Ashanti party?

If yes,was that the original ideology of the Tradition?

If no,then what is this? TRIBALISM !
You remember Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu a.k.a. Lawrence Addai ?

A whole minority leader in the person of Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu in the run up to the 2012 general election said there was no Ga person to partner Nana Addo in the election.

This is exactly what he said and I quote "....today people are saying that if we had a high profile Ga,the person could qualify.....admittedly,we don't have that person yet in the Ga fraternity....people who people will accept as natural...."

Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu said this even though he knew there were people in the Ga fraternity who are even fit to lead the party than Nana Addo himself. At that time Professor Mike Oquaye could partner Nana Addo very well but Mensah Bonsu said this publicly. Mensah Bonsu delibrately said this when he knew their national chairman(Jake Obetsebi Lamptey) was a Ga. What is this ? TRIBALISM !

In any event,Professor Mike Oquare has his certificate that translates him into a Professor, where is Nana Addo's certificate which tanslates him into a Lawyer that he touts himself with ?

It is imperative to go into history. The NPP has forgotten that their antecedent called United Party(UP) was a merger of tribal organizations which were banned by the Avoidance of Discrmination Act,1957 (C.A. 38).

These tribal organizations were the Northern People's Party(NPP), National Liberation Movement(NLM), Moslem Association Party(MAP), Togoland Congress(TC), Anlo Youth Organization(AYO) and the Ga Shifimokpee.

The above mentioned tribal organizations were merged to form the United Party under the leadership of Kofi Abrefa Busia,the leader of NLM.

The United Party(UP) was launched at Bukom in Accra on 3rd November,1957.

The chairman for the rally at that time was Mr Ashie Nii Quaye who was a Ga.

The National Chairman at that time was Mr John H. Mills who was also a Ga.

Then we had a whole Legislator in the person of Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyepong who in the run up to the 2012 general elections,mounted a platform and publicly called for the extermination and annihilation of our Ga and Ewe countrymen/women.

I was very much bewildered by that schizophrenic comment made by Kennedy because the NDC is not a custodian of Gas and Ewes.

Indeed,there are bigwigs in the NPP who are Gas and Ewes.

It was this same Kennedy who run away to the States with his 'tails' inbetween his legs after the massive victory of the great NDC in 2008. It is also significantly necessary to put on record that,Kennedy Agyepong was the last MP to be sworn in. A coward as he is,he called for the annihilation of other tribes. What is this ? TRIBALISM !

Then we had another Legislator in the person of Madam Ursula Owusu who circumnavigated her cacophonous mandibles 360 degrees and said that "but for the free education introduced in the North by Nkrumah,the President(Northerners) would have been rearing cattle".

What a culture of impunity! Has she forgotten that their so called star witness,Dr Bawumia is a Northerner?

Are they just using him and later 'eliminate' him as they did to the Late Alhaji Aliu Mahama by their modus operandi that I call 'elimination by rough tactics' ?

What is this ? TRIBALISM !
Today,they tout themselves as 'respecters' of Rule of Law.

They engage in all these incendiary escapades and believe they have freedom of expression yet,they founded expression in arresting Mr E.T. Mensah in 2008 because he was purported to have whispered that "the plan is working". He was detained for about 48 hours.

Arresting somebody who was alleged to have whispered that "the plan is working" and detained him for about 48 hours while they mount platforms and make all manner of incendiary,despicable,satanic,diabolic and demonic comments pubicly.

What is this? Is this democracy ?
This is mayhem! This is chaos! This is anarchy and it is unacceptable and needs condemnation with alacrity!

That is why I enjoy quoting Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
Dr. Kwame Nkrumah learned all of these from his opposition and said "our opponents have been singularly confused in their aims,methods and approaches and will not hesitate to make an alliance with the devil himself if by so doing they will subvert the victorious match of the masses towards their just aspirations......The reason why they adopt such tactics is because they fear democracy and the common man and they try to camouflage such fear by undermining the multi-party democracy and the parliamentary elections we have been able to introduce into this country"

Did Nkrumah goof when he said that? Absolutely no,he made the right speech because it reflects their deeds.

Some people vituperated,vilificated and denigrated me after I released my first article. One fascinating thing was that,I challenged them to point out what they thought was a fib in that article. Surprisingly,as it has played out,nobody has been able to do that. The trick is that,I respect facts and figures and so will not write an article that is not in resemblance with what is true.

This article is nothing but pure facts and figures.

I write with euphoria and gusto, given the fact that I write with pure facts and figures.
