
We hereby sadly and regretfully announce the death of Honorable Mr. Justice Nicholas Yaw Boafo (N. Y. B.) Adade, Esq. a former Member of Parliament from Ashanti Akim North Constituency, Minister of Justice and Attorney General, and Minister of Interior during the Busia Government, a Supreme Court Judge and Acting Chief Justice passed-on on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the 37 Military Hospital, Accra, Ghana.
The one-week of his death falls on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. However, the family will gather for the traditional one-week observation on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at his hometown at Boankra, near Ejesu, Ashanti. Justice Adade is survived by his wife Mrs. Agnes Adade (Accra), his children Mr. LKB Adade (Boankra), Dr. AYB Adade (USA), Ms. Alma Pokua Adade (London, UK), Ms. Amanda Boakyewaa Adade (USA), Ms. Agnes Yaa Nkansa Adade (Ejesu); Mrs. Florence Kwarteng (Sister, Tema), Mr. Ebenezer K. B. Adade (Brother, Gambia), Mrs. Comfort Mahama (Sister, Canada) and his many grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral arrangements for Justice Adade will be announced soon.
