Did NPP Poison Henry Ford Kamel? And Attempted To Murder UW Regional Minister?
29.12.2012 LISTEN

This is no conspiracy theory at work. It is evil people who are bent on causing harm even to the point of death just to have their way to power, money and glory in our cherished country called Ghana. In this world nothing happens by chance, therefore, when calamity strikes you've got to take a deep dive to do a thorough investigation to unravel the circumstances.

In the just ended elections, we have two regions which showed the NPP the red card by not giving them any parliamentary seats. Readers will recall that in the Volta and the Upper West Regions, the NPP did not win any parliamentary seats, thus putting a big dent to the party's pompous ego.

But the NPP which did not take it kindly to such a humiliating act by the two regions put its diabolical plan in scope. Just some few days before Christmas, precisely on Friday morning December 21, the Upper West Regional Minister, Alhaji Amadu Sulemana, escaped death when some unknown assailants shot him through the rear of his vehicle on the Gwollu-Wa road.

The attack was made to sound as if armed robbers attempted to rob Alhaji Sulemana and in the process shot him. But painstaking investigations have revealed that the NPP set the assailants on Alhaji Sulemana to teach him a lesson for his campaign roles which denied the NPP any political foothold in the Upper West Region.

Then on December 25, which incidentally was Christmas Day, the Volta Regional Minister, Henry Ford Kamel suddenly passed away. Mr. Kamel, who was also the Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency in Jasikan District of the Volta Region died from unknown circumstances. But I can say it on authority that Kamel was poisoned and everything is pointing towards the doorsteps of the NPP.

It is no mere coincidence that the ministers of the two regions which gave the NDC a clean sweep during the just-ended elections will suffer such calamities. And do not be fooled into believing that the NPP has no hand in the murder and attempted murder of the two ministers. You underestimate the NPP folks at your peril.

Because when it comes to money, power and glory, members of the NPP especially its leadership are capable of clearing any roadblocks that impede their way. They can do worse when their backs are pinned to the wall.

I am therefore, calling on the security agencies to do thorough investigations to confirm my claim that Mr. Kamel was poisoned and also arrest and bring to book those who attempted to kill Minister Sulemana. Ghana does not belong to the NPP people alone. We must therefore, never allow them to cow everybody to tow their line.
