LEAGUE WINNERS, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, have formed a seven-member committee to ensure that the club lives up to expectation in the Africa Champions League next season.
The committee, which has Kotoko guru, Jerry Asare as its chairman, has been tasked to implement effective mechanisms so as to ensure that the two-time Africa champions progressed far in the tournament.
The other members of the strong committee include Samson Deen, Alhaji Lammin, Opoku Nti, and Nana Kwame Dankwah, a Kotoko source hinted the paper.
The Kumasi Asante Kotoko Board reportedly gave the green light for the committee to commence work for the club when they met at a secret location on Tuesday.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko last won the Africa cup in 1983 when Opoku Nti's solitary goal at the then Kumasi Sports Stadium won the coveted trophy for the Kumasi-based team.
