Rawlings Is A Confused Man

The NDC has a serious problem on hand. It is not about how to run a credible campaign to win the December 7 elections. It is simply about how to contain or handle JJ Rawlings. It seems the NDC leadership does not know how to handle JJ Rawlings. Rawlings, who seems to have read into this, is seriously misbehaving as a confused man who does not know what it takes to be a founder of a party.

Can you imagine a founder of a party daily condemning the same party and the president just because nobody is giving him the chance to dictate how the country should be run? Either out of respect or fear, nobody in the NDC wants to touch Rawlings. In fact, no credible leader in the NDC wants to say or do anything against Rawlings even when it has become abundantly clear that this selfish man with his petty wife called Nana Konadu are bent on sending the NDC back into opposition.

Rawlings, has become an albatross on the NDC since the party came into power in 2008. Rawlings who is power drunk and believes President Mills should have given him the chance to govern from behind has nothing good to offer the NDC going into the December 7 elections and the earlier they forget about him the better it would be for the party.

Rawlings, is today calling some NDC people as traitors. A traitor simply means someone who betrays another's trust or is false to an obligation. It also means someone who commits treason. Therefore, if we want to critically examine and know who is betraying the cause or obligation of the NDC, it is none other than Rawlings and his wife. Because Nana Konadu lost the chance to become the NDC flagbearer for the 2012 elections, she and Rawlings are doing everything under their power to deny President Mills the second term.

Rawlings is indeed a confused man. He has nothing good to offer the NDC. In fact he has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that he is a selfish, self-centered and egoistic. No credible NDC member should take him serious anymore. Rawlings, claims to be for the ordinary guys or foot-soldiers in the party, but we should ask Rawlings what he did for the NDC foot-soldiers before he left office? He did nothing for them. All the foot-soldiers who followed Rawlings got nothing. So why is he today pushing President Mills to take care of the foot-soldiers when he Rawlings did nothing for them?

I am gratified when Nii Lantey Vanderpuye told Rawlings to resign from the NDC. I strongly believe that if Rawlings and Nana Konadu leave the NDC it would do the party a lot of good. He has simply become a distraction to the party as it is gearing up towards the elections. Nobody in the NDC should kowtow to Rawlings again. The party has had enough of his nonsense and it is high time they call off his bluff. The NDC has grown so the party would not worship just one individual or one family at the expense of the rest.

How can one person hold the whole party and its fortunes to ransom? If Rawlings indeed has the party at heart he would have behaved as an elder statesman. It is time the NDC people notably its foot-soldiers rise up and condemn Rawlings. Rawlings, is nobody just like everybody. In fact he was nobody before he staged his first coup d'état, therefore, the foot-soldiers should stop worshipping him but rather throw their weight behind President Mills to win the up-coming elections.

Rawlings should also be told in the face that nobody in the NDC is a bastard because he is the one who does not know who his father was. When Kow Nkensen Arkaah was Rawlings' vice president and kept criticizing him, what happened? Rawlings whipped the crap out of him at a cabinet meeting whilst Arkaah was condemned by members of the NDC who even called on him to resign. So is it not the same thing that Arkaah did which Rawlings is doing today.

Rawlings, has portrayed himself to be a shameful person, who does not respect himself or anybody in the NDC. Everything is all about Rawlings, Nana Konadu or nobody else. He is despicable and needs to see a psychiatric. A man who has no friends is no man at all. Nana Konadu, the most vicious woman only Rawlings can buy, is bent on tearing the NDC apart. But I bet she would go down before the NDC party.

The logo issue should be a wake-up call for the NDC on how terrible Konadu can be. That woman who thinks she has nothing to lose by dancing with the NPP to see to the defeat of the NDC has done enough harm to the NDC. The party would be much better if the terrible two leave the party. They cannot form any credible party and make any major break within the next five months. The NDC foot-soldiers should reject them. Everybody is fed up with them and it's about time NDC members tell Rawlings and Konadu to go to hell.
