LET'S TELL THEM HISTORY IS ON THE SIDE OF SAMIA NKRUMAH

The cause of Ghana's problems in this 21st century is simply the case of poverty of ambition and destitution of a sense of common purpose on the part of the current leadership of Nkrumahist tradition to wrestle power from the obviously misguided NPP and NDC; and the rest - inferiority complex, self-doubt, unemployment, poverty, organized crimes, armed conflicts, famine, diseases and the general lack of advancements in our nation's political, economic, social and cultural settings - are all effects.

Indeed, between the recent analogous “Positive Change” and the “Better Ghana” Agenda of the NPP and NDC, all right-thinking Ghanaians without a scintilla of doubt, would rather another Party with a different set of Agenda convened the best of our hopes and the best of our values; the best of our aspirations and the best of the trajectories of political governance in order to get us in a record time to the promised land of economic emancipation the nation's founding father, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, spoke of when he led us to experience political freedom first in Sub-Saharan Africa.

And that Party must obviously be Osagyefo's own Convention People's Party!

But the deficit of trust that exist between the teeming sympathisers of the Nkrumahist tradition and the current leadership of that tradition is too profound for the CPP to keep on doing the same things the same way with the same people and expect different results from the polling stations were elections are won and lost.

The records are clear and the evidence incontrovertible: that the CPP needs a new image and that image must certainly evolve around Samia Nkrumah and the rest shall definitely become part of our great history as a nation-state with a vision to become the model for that ultimate freedom of Africa and the black race in a better world for humanity.

Like that Akan maxim: “Sέ Abofra ansέ oni a, osέ ose´ - A child is either a replica of the mother or a duplicate of the father”, in Samia we see Dr. Kwame Nkrumah rising up again to help redeem this Party which guarantees true freedom and justice to the African from its current half-hearted generation of leadership who are oftentimes more NDC than Jerry Rawlings and more NPP than J. A. Kuffour;

In Samia we see a commitment which is unalloyed; a passion not fabricated; competence unsurpassed and courage based on a personal conviction forged in the crucible of selflessness to help rebuild this noble Nkrumahist tradition once again;

In Samia we see 21st century ideas and deeds for 21st century challenges and hopes of the youth and women of this nation;

In Samia the Sekous, the Pratts, the Baakos, the Blays, the Antwi-Dansos, the Dowuonas, the Delles, the Nduoms, the Akosas, the Aggudeys, the Sakaras, the Akweteys, the Nylanders and their likes would indeed become either sheep in sheep's clothing or wolves in wolves' clothing – there would be no middle way for middle men to ply their trade of divisions, hypocrisy and profiteering;

In Samia the organisation of the CPP would be the envy of the ant, and the unity of purpose of the new Nkrumahist family would be the aspiration of the Jew and the desire of the Arab;

In Samia, Kwame and Fathia shall both graciously smile in their graves at the old Polo Grounds (now The Nkrumah Mausoleum) for the first time because this is a self-fulfilling prophecy;

And In Samia Ghana and for that matter, Africa will definitely be the winner.

The truth is, some of us love the Convention People's Party so much for us to allow the NPP and NDC to continue with their constant play-back loops of turning CPP's noble ambition to lead this nation to economic paradise into dying embers of wishful thinking and therefore annihilate the Party from the annals of the nation's contemporary politics.

And never again shall we sit down for the future of the CPP to become like that of its yesteryears.

Thus, the CPP Delegates have only one message and one choice in our up-coming Delegates Conference to elect new leaders to steer the affairs of our Party towards election 2012 and beyond.

That clear message is that never again are we going to allow the NPP and NDC to determine who lead the CPP, and the understandable choice is that Samia Nkrumah must be our new Party Chairperson or No CPP!!!

For those who unreasonably flaunt their empty experience based on mere old age and patronage from the NPP and NDC as the basis to be given a Caesar's Crown in the CPP, let's tell them Kwame Nkrumah was only 38 years when he raised the nation's eyes toward the horizon of political freedom with the UGCC/CPP and Samia Nkrumah is far older and experienced than that to surpass her father in that trademark when given that mantle of leadership!

Let's tell them Samia knows those who betrayed the cause of the CPP yesterday from within and she definitely knows those who are betraying the cause of the CPP today too from within!

Let's tell them it is vision, competence, character, compassion, courage, commitment, passion tempered with an understanding of the challenges of our generation and above all a sense of good judgement that really count in this contest and none of the other aspirants to the Party's Chairmanship position come close to these qualities which Samia has in great measure.

Let's tell them the youth, market women, students, workers, farmers, fishermen , technocrats, clergy, journalists and the chiefs of this country and the Nkrumahist Tradition in particular, simply do love Samia Nkrumah for all the sacrifices she has made for the CPP and this nation upon all that some ignorant men did to her family in 1966, 45 years ago, and regardless of what others who unfortunately claim to be more CPP than Dr. Nkrumah are still doing to the Nkrumahist tradition because of their belly and vain glory!

Let's tell them in these times of leadership crisis the CPP delegates really know the person the Party and for that matter Ghana needs to be that light which shall illuminate our way out of our tunnel of struggle and hopelessness as a Party and as a nation.

Let's tell them Samia is all that Ghana has been waiting for to lead the CPP and the Nkrumahist tradition like her father did, righting both the perceived and actual wrongs of her father and accentuating his great and everlasting works for mother Ghana, Africa and the rest of humanity!

And let's tell them that the history of this nation is simply on the side Of Samia Nkrumah in both the up-coming national delegate election of the CPP, and Election 2012 and beyond!

Just ask Kwabena Adjei and Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey and they will truthfully tell you that Samia Nkrumah is the sum of all their fears in Election 2012, especially if we the electorates do not allow them - both the NDC and NPP - to set their rigging machinery in motion!

Long Live Samia Nkrumah, And Long Live The CPP!

Long Live The Nkrumahist Tradition, And Long Live Ghana!

Long Live the African Integration Struggle, And May God Bless Africa!
