Mills Must Go 2012!

An African saying very common in Guinea Bissau says: “When your house is burning, it's no use beating the tom-toms.” In other words, we cannot bring prosperity and raise the living standard of the growing poor people by shouting against the oppressor. What is needed is for us to raise our thumb and show them “all” the exit in 2012.

I don't know about you but I strongly believe there is general hardship in the country called Ghana.

I again don't know about you but I will not take a 10 percent chance on change promised by the Mills administration which is largely a failed government.

Our growing disenchantment should be directed at those who call themselves Christians and go about duping, raping and plundering the already poor masses of the rural and urban areas of their paltry sum of amount.

The erstwhile Bush-led-Republican-government and the Blair-led-Labor-government are few of the world leaders who clad themselves with Christianity and perpetuated heinous crimes against humanity.

After all the all-genuine and holiness of Mills was nothing but a decoy and a sham to lure Ghanaians to mandate him to serve his colonial masters.

Despite cries of hardship Mills with no milk of sympathy had gone ahead to increase the petroleum prices in the country. A whooping thirty (30) percent increase on petroleum is totally and simply madness!

It must be stated that, the increase came after the President had declared the year 2011 as the “year of action”.

A “year of action” my foot, President Mills!
Aside his unsympathetic nature, from the quarters of the former President Rawlings, the man Mills looks highly “unfit to rule” the country.

If the allegation story of Prof. Awoonor – the Chairman of the Council of State usurping the powers and dictates of President Mills as narrated by Rawlings is anything to go by, then the President has given Ghanaians all indications that he surely must go come December, 2012.

His inability to bring persons like Kobby Acheampong-Deputy Minister of Tourism and the Deputy Minister of Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa to order are indications of his growing weakness in holding his near-broken administration on check. These are persons who have display first class hypocrisy and arrogance to the extreme.

We should not be surprise if Okudzeto comes out to call Ghanaians “whiners” just for complaining about the recent Petroleum increase.

Our unsurprised nature stems from the fact that, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a party well organized and established on arrogant talks and the booing of people.

Lastly and most importantly, the contradictory tendency of President Mills' Vice – John Mahama stinks. This is a man who was alleged to have been lobbied by British government officials to interfere in the COCOBOD ban on Almajaro Ghana limited by the London Sunday Times. And soon after he returned to the country, the ban on the company of the “world dupe” was lifted by COCOBOD. Isn't this fishy?

Mahama and his Spokesperson, John Jinapor also denied vehemently ever promising some Korean companies that he will use Ghana's oil as collateral in an exchange for loan. This allegation was leveled by the opposition NPP Members in Parliament.

Less than seventy two hours (72) John Jinapor was on air saying that, the Vice President made such a promise through a signed letter and arrogantly insulted efforts at getting him to apologizing to Ghanaians.

These and many scary similar scenes and situations make Mills highly “unfit to rule” this small country.

Like Jerry Rawlings, I strong believe Mills will be shown the exit come the next election and we the people of Ghana fret the prospect of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in raising the living standard of the poor. Any alternative?
