An Associate Professor at the School of Social Work, University of Georgia has emphasized the alienation of less-endowed in society could deprived an economy of the requisite human resource for future development.

She is leading a team from the USA on a three-week partnership program in Ghana.
The University of Georgia has for the past ten years been collaborating with local universities, especially the KNUST to embark on community projects in areas such as land architecture, agriculture, education, food and nutrition.
Speaking to Luv Biz Report, Dr. Dozier noted both the micro and macro levels of social works are essential to sustainable development.
She says this year's project is to link the students to social support projects whilst learning from the Ghanaian experience of achieving a lot with little resources.
