Gloria Attison Wins Vodafone 2nd Draw

Mrs. Gloria Attison who resides at the Regimanuel Estates, Community 15, Tema, won the grand prize of a brand new 4x4 Mitsubishi Pajero with her Vodafone number 020-8230006 at the 2nd draw of the ongoing 'Vodafone Rewards' promotion.

The 2nd draw of the promotion, which is aimed at showing appreciation towards Vodafone customers for their loyalty and commitment, took place at the forecourt of the Trade Fair site, Accra on Friday 9th October 2009.

Speaking to the regular MC of the occasion, Fiifi Banson of Peace FM fame, on a speaker phone from her Regimanuel Estates residence, Mrs. Gloria Attison expressed delight to have won the prestigious 4x4 Mitsubishi Pajero and thanked Vodafone for a transparent rewarding promotion.

Four people won the second prize of a Yamaha DT 125 Motorcycle each as their prizes; 5 people won Laptop Computers; 300 subscribers won a mobile phone each; 10 people also received a 2-year Educational Scholarship worth GH¢2,000, whilst 50 ipods  were won by 50 lucky winners.

Speaking at the short but impressive ceremony, Mr. Isaac Abraham, Internal Communications Manager of Vodafone Ghana said, “All top ups made between 1st August and 31st October, 2009 respectively will be entered into the final draw where one person can win the ultimate US$1,000,000.00 prize, which is a furnished 4-Bedroom Trasacco Valley House in Accra together with 12 months free internet access and a Pajero 4X4 vehicle provided with a driver for 3 months”.

Mr. Abraham outlined the processes that Vodafone subscribers can use to participate in the promotion as follows:

Customers who wish to participate in the promotion will have to register by dialing “eleven eleven” (1111) to reach an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) – an automated telephone system.

Once registered, for any recharge on prepaid mobile or landline, customers will secure an entry into the draw for every One Ghana Cedi (GHc1).   

The Grand final draw is scheduled to be held in Accra on 6th November, 2009.
