Some regional and constituency communication team members of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) have filed nomination forms for Mahmud Kabore, who is vying for the Ashanti Regional Communications Officer position.
The group, led by former Presidential Staffer P. V. Juantoa Dadson, submitted the forms on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, amidst high hopes of Kabore winning the polls.
Speaking to OTEC News after completing the filing, P. V. Juantoa emphasized that Kabore is the best person to lead the party’s communication going into the 2028 polls.
He noted that Kabore resonates well with both the top hierarchy of the party and the grassroots, making him a bridge to connect the two for effective campaign strategies.
He added that the NDC is carrying the Ashanti Region along in its communication strategies, and that Kabore is the most suitable candidate for the job.
The team expressed confidence that Kabore’s experience, humility, and deep understanding of the party’s communication architecture will give the NDC an advantage in the Ashanti Region.
They have therefore called on delegates to rally behind Mahmud Kabore and vote massively for him to lead the party’s communication in the region.
