Founder and leader of the Union Government Movement, Akwasi Addai Odike has criticised the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) newly elected national executives, describing them as “lions being led by a goat.”
The Ghanaian businessman and politician also said former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is not capable of leading the NPP.
“The New Patriotic Party’s newly elected executives are like lions being led by a goat,” Odike said on Ezra FM/radio.
He described Bawumia as a “liability” to the NPP and questioned whether he could help the party return to power.
“Dr Bawumia is a liability to the NPP; his demeanour can’t win them power,” he said.
Odike also accused the Bawumia of failing to properly criticise President John Dramani Mahama’s government.
“Dr Bawumia has failed to criticise Mahama’s government because of his incompetence,” he said.
