The Member of Parliament for Ho Central has announced a three-month free media training programme for constituents as part of his Viva Support initiative, which is aimed at empowering the youth.
According to the MP, the initiative was inspired by his keen observation of the remarkable evolution of the media landscape and its growing influence in contemporary society.
He noted that the media has become a formidable force that not only projects voices but also creates profound opportunities and enduring waves for those who dare to venture into it, stressing that professionalism is key to unlocking its true potential.
In light of this, the MP said the free training programme is designed to nurture and equip a new generation of media professionals within the Ho Central Constituency.
The programme will cover key areas including blogging, camera operation, video editing, graphic design, news reporting, news presentation, content creation and other fields within the media fraternity.
He therefore extended a cordial invitation to all interested youth and constituents to take part in what he described as a transformative three-month journey.
The MP emphasized that the training is entirely free and is open to all eligible constituents who wish to build a career in the media industry.
Registration is currently underway at the Office of the Member of Parliament for Ho Central and will close on 12th October, 2026, with prospective applicants entreated to visit the office, collect registration forms and indicate their fields of interest.
