The Member of Parliament for Effiduase Asokore, Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye, has donated GH¢100,000 to support the health welfare initiative of constituency youth organisers in the Ashanti Region.
The donation came after the Ashanti Regional Constituency Youth Organisers, led by Regional Youth Organiser Martin Ameyaw, conferred on him the title of Patron of the youth wing.
The group had paid a courtesy call on Dr. Afriye on Monday to formally introduce their leadership and present him with a citation for his immense financial support and dedication to the campaign of former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Accepting the honour, Dr. Afriye commended the youth organisers for their hard work and urged them to remain focused on grassroots mobilization.
He charged them to work tirelessly in their respective constituencies to strengthen the party's base ahead of the 2028 general elections.
"We cannot win 2028 without a strong, united youth front. I urge you to stay committed, work hard at the grassroots, and rally behind Dr. Bawumia to secure victory for the NPP," he said.
