Harry and Meghan Return to the UK After Six Years — Private Jet Trip Cost Six Figures

Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex have moved from the United States back to the United Kingdom with their children — a relocation that reportedly came with a hefty price tag.

A few days ago, Harry and Meghan arrived in Britain with their children and their two dogs. Their return follows the announcement that the Sussexes would be resettling in Harry’s homeland after six years away. According to the US outlet Page Six, the couple spent a six‑figure sum on the journey.

The report states that the Sussexes chartered a private jet for the transatlantic flight. The aircraft, which can accommodate up to 13 passengers, is said to have included five beds and two bathrooms.

A costly private flight home

According to Page Six, Harry and Meghan paid around $12,000 per hour for the flight, bringing the total to approximately $120,000. An insider told the outlet that the couple chose a private jet to ensure they could travel easily with their dogs, Pula and Mia.

Their children, seven‑year‑old Archie and five‑year‑old Lilibet, have reportedly already been enrolled in a school, with classes beginning in September. “Harry and Meghan are looking forward to their children spending more time in the country that forms such an important part of their family history,” a spokesperson told The New York Times.

How long will they stay?

It remains unclear whether the Sussexes intend to settle permanently in the UK. Their spokesperson said the couple had decided to spend “an extended period” in Harry’s home country following “a wonderful trip with family and friends this summer.” During Harry’s visit in July, the couple also met with King Charles.

For Meghan, the idea of returning to the UK had reportedly been under consideration even before the move. Media reports suggest she will no longer take on a role she had been offered in the Netflix series The Gentlemen, with the withdrawal said to be linked to strong backlash from within the UK.
