A Pan African Experience: Local Ghanaians and African Diasporan Teachers Together in Education-- It Can Be Done

The Fifth Pan African Congressed was bridged over from Manchester, United Kingdom by Kwame Nkrumah in 1945 to the colonial Gold Coast in an effort to gain independence from white/European colonialists.

The effort today is to further nation-building Ghana/Africa with the help of the ‘Ascendants of Africans who were stolen from Africa’-- Repatriates, also those Africans who voluntarily migrated ‘out-of-Africa’ for greener pastures (and some to eventually Repatriate).

In the education realm of things in Ghana, there are Africans Diasporans who have taught and teaching in Ghana schools and those who have constructed their own, and organized education programs. In addition to building and staffing a hospital—see Lucca Health Medical Center, Accra.

--are Repatriates via the United Kingdom, and more so are experienced in traveling throughout the international community.

Ascot proprietors have employed African Diasporans, including Continental Africans from other nations. And to date 1st August 2026, 20^th year—celebrating and gaining experience with the help and support of the community, and today several leaders who play a role in helping African Diaspora Educators get acclimated to Ghana’s various cultures and to find better ways to supplement Ghana’s curriculum using various teaching methods and theme--

Many African Diasporan Educators believe in and support the Pan African Movement, African nations independence, sovereignty, and an African-Centered Education (ACE), so does certain Ghanaians; and they strive in providing a useful and practical educational experience-- not just a means to maintain ‘poverty-mindedness, and “chew, pour and forget” nor white/European philanthropists and Eurocentrics determined efforts to control African curriculums and neo-colonialize.
