According to eyewitnesses, the RHINO truck with registration number GR 7704-15 suffered a tyre burst while in motion. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and crash into one of the concrete pillars supporting the Aggrey Memorial SHS overhead.
The impact of the collision left both the driver and his mate seriously injured. They were rescued from the wreckage by bystanders and emergency responders before being rushed to a nearby health facility for urgent medical treatment.
