Freeman Kojo Gadri has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the New Juaben South Constituency ahead of the party's 2026 internal elections.
In a statement announcing his intention, Mr. Gadri said his decision to enter the race is motivated by his desire to provide dedicated, accountable, and results-oriented leadership for the youth of the constituency.
According to him, the youth are the backbone of the NDC and play a vital role in the growth and success of the party. He, however, noted that many young people in the constituency feel unheard, unsupported, and disconnected from the party's activities, stressing that this situation must be addressed.
Mr. Gadri said his vision for the New Juaben South youth is anchored on three key pillars that will focus on empowering young people, strengthening party unity, increasing youth participation, and creating opportunities for personal and political development.
He appealed to delegates and party faithful to support his bid, emphasizing that he is not only seeking their votes but also their confidence and trust to serve the youth with commitment and integrity.
"I am not just asking for your vote; I am asking for your trust to serve. Let us all do our bit and put New Juaben South first," he said.
Mr. Gadri reaffirmed his commitment to working tirelessly for the welfare of the youth and the progress of the NDC in the constituency if elected. His campaign is being championed under the slogans Freeman For Youth Organizer# Do your bit, and #NJS First.
