Chania International University (Greece), in collaboration with Honor Crest Institute (Canada), has formally conferred the prestigious Baccalaureate Honoris Causa (Honorary Doctorate) in Business and Management upon Mr. Maxwell Commey, CEO of Oro Oil Ghana Limited.
The official nomination letter, dated 30 May 2026, highlights Mr. Commey’s outstanding contributions as a regional leader in Africa. It recognizes his professional achievements, high status, and significant impact in business and management, particularly in the agro-industrial sector through Oro Oil Ghana Limited.
The honour was thoroughly vetted and approved by a committee at the Division of International Programs at Chania International University. The process for conferring honorary degrees is confidential, underscoring the selectivity and prestige of this recognition.
As part of the honor, Mr. Commey received a personal certificate, plaque, and academic gown during a live graduation session held in Kigali.
