Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, on Saturday became the center of attention in Kumasi as he led a strong delegation of government and NDC officials to the funeral rites of the late Mrs. Adwoa Berago Jantua Peprah.
The funeral ceremony, which drew hundreds of mourners and sympathizers, turned into a major show of solidarity and unity as the Chief of Staff personally joined the bereaved family to mourn their loss.
Hon. Julius Debrah was joined by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional NDC Chairman Nana Kwasi, Kumasi City Mayor, government appointees, party executives, and other dignitaries.
The late Mrs. Adwoa Berago Jantua Peprah was the beloved sister of Nana Yaa Jantua, Presidential Staffer, and mother-in-law of Contractor Kofi Job.
The arrival of the Chief of Staff sparked excitement among party supporters and residents, many of whom praised him for his humility and constant presence at important social and community events across the country.
Throughout the ceremony, Julius Debrah was seen interacting warmly with mourners, consoling family members, and sharing in the grief of party faithful who had gathered to pay their last respects.
Political observers say the Chief of Staff continues to strengthen his public image through his close relationship with ordinary Ghanaians and his visible support for party members in both joyful and painful moments.
The occasion also provided an opportunity for the delegation to sympathize with other bereaved NDC members and families in the Ashanti Region who have recently lost loved ones.
As prayers were said for the departed, mourners described the presence of Julius Debrah and the government delegation as comforting and reassuring during a difficult time for the family.
