The BAMA Innovation Day Challenge is an annual event hosted by the renowned British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) to promote sustainability, safety, and technological advancement in the aerosol industry. It brings together industry leaders and experts from across Europe to showcase cutting-edge developments in manufacturing, packaging, and design that enhance competitiveness.

This year’s event, sponsored by Jagopro, was held on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, UK. It highlighted supply chain innovations and convened leading minds, influential thinkers, and innovative manufacturers from across the industry.

Ahead of the event, BAMA announced its speaker line-up for Innovation Day 2026, including a new segment spotlighting emerging talent - innovators for tomorrow. As part of the selection process, graduate students from Leeds Beckett University’s School of Business Studies were tasked with exploring the innovation landscape and proposing ideas to improve industry sustainability and resilience.

Senyo Agbleze, a Ghanaian social entrepreneur currently enrolled in the graduate program, emerged as the winner of the 2026 Innovation Prize.

Back home in Ghana, he founded Asidor Ltd, serving as Innovation Lead, and was a fellow of the UNICEF Start-Up Lab. He also served as a project lead at Pencils of Promise in Ghana.

This recognition from a renowned British industry body adds to a growing list of Ghanaian excellence abroad.
