Government halts planned sachet water price increase

The Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry has announced that the price of sachet water will remain unchanged, following successful engagement with key industry stakeholders.

In a press release issued on Monday, April 6, 2026, the Ministry commended the Ghana Plastic Manufacturers Association and the National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers for suspending a planned price increase that was expected to take effect the same day.
