Debunking False Claims! Osei Kyeretwie Shs Authorities Clear The Air On Wassce Registration Fees

The management of Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School wishes to address a malicious and false allegation circulating, claiming the school is charging final year students Five thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh¢5,000) as WASSCE registration fee. This claim by an unknown person is entirely untrue and an attempt to tarnish the reputation of the school and its leadership.

The headmaster, who took charge a few months ago, has worked diligently to ensure the school’s WASSCE, 2025 exams are conducted with utmost integrity. Despite challenges in previous years, his leadership has ensured a fair and transparent examination process, yielding results that reflect the students’ efforts. This achievement is a testament to the school’s commitment to academic excellence and the headmaster’s vision for a corruption –free educational environment.

We believe this false allegation appears to be a retaliatory attempt by individuals unhappy with the headmaster’s stance against exam malpractices. The school has maintained a good track record, and such baseless claims won’t deter us from our commitment to academic excellence. We urge the public to disregard this false information and assure that we will take necessary actions to protect our reputation and that of our leadership.

The official WASSCE registration fees, as set by WAEC- Ghana, range from (GH¢604.63) for one subject to (GH¢856.96) for six (6) or more subjects. These fees are publicly available and do not match the figure being circulated. We encourage anyone with concerns to verify with the school administration or WAEC-Ghana directly.
