Ms. Jemima Nartey, Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Ghana Scout Association has been elected to serve on the Africa Scout Committee, which is the highest decision making body in Scouting in the Africa Scout Region with its headquarters based in Nairobi, Kenya. This took place during the 13th Africa Scout Conference in Kigali, Rwanda early this month.
Before rising to this position where she is the only female among eight other committee members, she has been serving the Ghana Scout Association as Deputy Chief Commissioner for the past five (5) years and has represented Ghana at several Scout conferences worldwide.
She is a product of Labone Secondary School, Mount Mary College and Ghana Institute of Journalism.
She is the managing proprietress of Happy Kids School, a private school in Accra.
