Kudus Research and Advocacy Center a Ghanaian base organization would like to share an insight on expectations of the Ghanaian president John Dramani Mahama the 4th and 6th president of the fourth Republican constitution of Ghana,as an organization not only are we looking at the expectations of president John Dramani Mahama at UNGA 80th session but we would also anticipate predict and even advised by way of recommendations in his first United Nation General Assembly in his second non consecutive term for he has been there before but the have been many changes and modernization regarding UN dealings hence the need and guide to avoid pass mistakes and most importantly to stay in script of what to transpired.

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization. Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an equal vote.

The UNGA also makes key decisions for the UN, including: appointing the Secretary-General on,the recommendation of the Security Council, electing the non-permanent members of the Security Council and approving the UN budget

The Assembly meets in regular sessions from September to December each year, and thereafter as required. It discusses specific issues through dedicated agenda items or sub-items, which lead to the adoption of resolutions.Sitting arrangements in the General Assembly Hall change for each session. The 80th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 80) will open on Tuesday, 9 September 2025. The first day of the high-level General Debate will be Tuesday, 23 September 2025.

The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80), scheduled to open on September 9, 2025, is expected to focus on strengthening the UN's role in addressing global challenges, particularly in the areas of peace, security, sustainable development, and human rights. Discussions will likely center around reinvigorating the UN system, reforming its structures, and enhancing its effectiveness in the face of contemporary issues.

President John Mahama at the 80th session at the United Nation General Assembly Kudus Research and Advocacy Center We begin with president John Mahama team it should consist top trusted and loyal appointees advisors and experts in specific areas of interest to him and the Ghanaian people, the First Lady Lordina Mahama should also have her mini team that would assist her in possible sideline meetings with other colleague First Ladies, with modest budgetary allocation devoid of any issues that will rise any eye brown regarding trip size number of people luxurious private jet that will highly cost the Ghanaian taxpayers in in terms of its funding and other resources allocation.

President John Mahama at the United Nations General Assembly principal focus should be sideline meetings that seeks to bring investors business partners trade deals for Ghana with little focus on his speech at the United Nation General Assembly as at the UNGA the higher you contribute funding and resources to the Assembly the higher your voice are heard and also the current stands and situation your country in terms of global issues of interest find itself will determine the attention you will be given when you mount the podium at the General Assembly hence countries like the United State president Donald J Trump Germany Chancellor Fredrick Merz, Chinese president Xi,French president Emanuel Macron UK PM Starmer Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu Palestinian leader Mahamoud Abass Ukraine president Zelensky among others will dominant the session, will sideline President Mahama speech hence the need the Ghanaian president and his team shift focus a tittle despite his speech should be read with all the patriotism the African-ism blend with the scene of Ghanaian pride in it with reach content truly representative of the Ghanaian current situations and Africa at large as the beacon of democracy and the gateway to Africa

Kudus Research and Advocacy Center would also like to look into areas that the Ghanaian president John Mahama and his team should be focusing on the first expectation is the Ghanaian team should take advantage of democracy constitutional rule tag of Ghana as Ghana a country located in West Africa first country to gain independent in Sub Sahara Africa on March 6, 1957, since then the democratic practice of Ghana have seen many revolution and transformation achieving its first Republic status on July 1,1966 experience fluctuation of military coups leadership to democratically elected leadership until 1992 when its fourth Republican status was born since then it has a very stable democracy not only in West Africa but the entire Africa, always seen as the hope beacon of democracy and the shining example of Africa. Hence many countries including the United State and its western allies would like to deal with such country. Programs and policies to promote democracy and constitutional rule detail discussed and funding solicited in that directions even when they do not offer the Ghanaian president and his team should request humbly

Another area Kudus Research and Advocacy Center would like to look into is that president John Mahama and his team are expected to advance its course is Climate Change a topical issues globally currently as many countries especially the European countries and Asian Economic power houses will be interested in despite the current number one global funder of project the United State president Donald J Trump administration have no or little interest in Climate Change and its related matters and activities nonetheless its still incumbent upon president Mahama and his team to design strategic meetings with countries organizations and individuals that have interest in climate change and its related matters and activities like European countries Germany evident of its embassy in Ghana engagements in climate change in Ghana, how pro climate change driving energy sources and other sectors can be funded in Ghana, programs and policies of interest to them in that areas look into intensely that will benefit the Ghanaian people , progress made so far by Mahama administration are also expected to be made know to organizations advocates activist financiers and other major stakeholders

Kudus Research and Advocacy Center would also look into president Mahama and his team we expect them in another area of interest and very important that's trade, despite Ghana not an economic power house in Africa nor the world in Ghana’s small own way at UNGA should look into making trade deals with other countries that will promote made in Ghana goods and services, the supply chain exports and imports into the country should be look into with countries president Mahama and his team are targeting to meet in these areas, US current trade and tariffs new regime have forced the entire world to redefine its trading and tariff regime hence Ghana should be no exception Mahama and his trade advisors are expected to make new trade deals renew old ones with focus on friendly reciprocal tariff regime that will encourage trade with Ghana and other countries

Kudus Research and Advocacy Center would also like president Mahama and his team to look into the the never ending migrants crisis as Ghana one of the countries of most likely origin of migrants who always moves to the US and Europe in seek of greener pastures, hence their discussions should be centered on programs and policies targeting areas that are intended of resolving the migrant crisis at the root base that is in Ghana, resources and funding of programs that seeks to solve the migrants crisis by creating jobs solving basic issues that are the major factors that derive migrants out of the country among others look into intensely. Not only is Ghana most likely origin of migrants seeking greener pastures in the western world but in region neighbouring countries Ghana economically and political stable than find their citizens in Ghana that’s is evident in the streets of Ghana mostly begets, should also be looked into with organizations advocates philanthropist that can help that regards through policies and programs

Kudus Research and Advocacy Center also look into president Mahama and his team they are expected to focus on Ghana achieving the Sustainable Development Goals , in their meetings and discussion ways that the SDG’s can be achieved should be paramount especially its funding and resources of its policies and programs, especially the flagship free Senior High School and “No fee stress policy” and the entire Ghanaian Educational sectors Health sectors Mahama Care Transportation communication Human right and gender issues among others

Kudus and Research and Advocacy Center expect president John Mahama and his team to promote made in Ghana Wear, by most of the time wear made in Ghana that are seen as indigenous Africa Ghanaian wear like the Smock Kente, always present something Ghanaian to any person met especially Kente or Smock to presidents and their spouse met

Madam president its my greatest pleasure as the president of the Republic of Ghana to address this August house for the first time in my second non consecutive term, the 4th and 6th president, a fit historically the only president that has succeeded in two non consecutive terms in Ghana since the inception of the 1992 constitution indeed a shining democratic example of Africa, will like to use this opportunity to congratulate you Madam President Annalena Baerbock for your election as the presiding president of the 80th Session of the United Nation General Assembly.a former federal foreign affairs minister of Germany wishing you well in stirring the affairs of this August house not your competency in doubt or questionable, an incredible figure you are madam president

.Madam president as part of my administration Reset Agenda of my beloved country Ghana and as the year 2025 were declared as a year of Cooperatives by United Nations celebrated with the theme Copper active Build a Better World my remarks would be centered on these for we can not live in a world if we don’t cooperate among each other,

Madam president I must admit that the current trade or tariffs war in the world have adverse effects and impact on developing countries like Ghana as a developing economy who used to rely heavily on grants donations and loans to complement its budgetary allocation towards national development find its self in a tight situation as most developing economies especially from Africa not only Ghana with this current tariff and trade regime facing challenges , will like to use this opportunity to call on the world economic power house especially the United State to look into Ghana and other developing economics and consider our situation as “Transition period” of which we would be given flexible tariff and trade deals subjected to be adjusted as times goes by, depending on our economic situation, for as the saying goes when two big elephants fights it’s the grass and shrubs around that suffers the most hence Ghana and other developing economies find ourselves in this situation and we can only adjust to survive

Madam president we are also currently leaving in more unsecured world then ever in decades that has been be deviled by global insecurities like the Russia Ukraine war that have affected all spheres of life from the economy - distraction of supply chain, migrants crisis as results of the war more refugees fleeing it burdening the already fragile migrants crisis and situation, madam president as the president of the Republic of Ghana we are not taken side nor to judge the morality behind the war but we are using this platform to call for calm and diplomatic solution use to find and to bring peace back to Europe and the entire world at large, the Middle East crisis another hot spot that needs urgent attention especially in Gaza its humanitarian crisis, aid must be allowed into the region hostages released ceasefire and ultimate peace agreed Israel and Hamas must come to terms and face the reality that the world needs to be peaceful put aside their difference, a two state solution backed by UNGA should be ultimate that would bring finality and end to the stone age war and as the president of the Republic of Ghana will use the opportunity to join my other colleague world leaders in recognizing the Palestinian statehood as France UK Spain Australia among others have done

Madam president back in Africa we have our own versions of insecurities taken a critical look at the Rwanda backed M23 rebels and DR Congo forces conflicts, the Sudanese RSF and government forces Somalia Eritrea and my beloved Ghana were we still faces chieftaincy conflicts in Bawku in the Upper East region of Ghana, election related violence in Ghana would like to call on United Nation General Assembly 80th session to look into ways that can help resolves these conflicts to bring peace and security in the various regions and the world at large despite in our own way have made significant contributions towards bringing peace like Ghana efforts in Burkina Faso Mali Niger Guinea among others in hope of helping them resolve their domestic conflicts and mediate them to rejoin the Economic Community Of West African States ECOWAS of which the broke away in hope of forming their own groupings, also historically Ghana contribution to world peace is abundantly clearly in years gone by ranging from peace committing resources in our own small way to that of contribution of troops among others in various parts of the continent Africa and the world at large and will like to use this opportunity to assure the UNGA 80th session that Ghana will and always ready to help bring stability peace and unity and the world whenever the need arises

Madam president since I came to office in January 7,2025 president Mahama should highlight all key major activities programs policies and achievements of his administration ranging from Free SHS No Fee Stress policy, the Economy Inflation reduction stabilization of the Ghanaian Cedi and other economic indicators targets, climate change and climate action fight of illegal mining popular known in Ghana as “Galamsey”,

Madam president sad to let UNGA known that in the quest of my administration fighting illegal mining to protect our environment lost my administration top two cabinet ministers Defense minister Dr Omane Boamah and Environment Minister Dr Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed and my acting Deputy National security Coordinator Mr Muniru Mohammed Limuna and five others in August 6 in an Helicopter crash on their way to lunch a program towards fight against illegal mining popular known as “Galamsey” in Ghana in the Ashanti region of Ghana in Adansi forest in a cocoa farm that brought the entire nation in a state of mourning, the banking crisis etc, tackling of unemployment issues job creations poverty alleviation human rights and gender issues, telecommunication Artificial intelligence modern and advance technology transportation among others support with facts figures policies and programs but of international and UNGA interest not to score cheap political points domestically, president Mahama should use the opportunity to call on investors donors activist advocates in the various sectors of interest to help Ghana achieve its goals

Madam president another priority of my administration is that of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals SDG but we cannot do it alone key highlights of Ghana;’s achievements and progress made so far in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals

President Mahama is expected also that on the geopolitical wars and fight among others should be refrain from taken side if possible to be on the safest side in your speech but that doesn't mean that concerns should not be raised when the need arises during your speech regarding the geopolitical division but importantly always try to side with those who will give you and the Ghanaian people food that’s is economic and political benefits

President Mahama should give summary and closing remarks thank the United Nation General Assembly for given him and the Ghana people the needed audience

Long live and Bless our Homeland Ghana!!!
Long live United Nation General Assembly !!!
God Bless the United Nation General Assembly!!!

Thank you for your audience.
Kudus Research and Advocacy Center in conclusion it's our dreams hopes expects and anticipates that president of Ghana John Dramani Mahama will have a successful trip when he and his team plays their card well in their choice of sideline meetings negotiations deals tone at discussion choice of allegiance of Superpower and opportunities and privilege that would unveiled to them how they will relate and grab them to their advantage at the 80th session of the United Nation General Assembly . But must also advised that due to the volatile nature of the global geopolitics President John Mahama and his team at the General Assembly should stay within their lane to avoid aftermath reactions to his administration and Ghana as a whole, Ghana at UNGA 80th session is there to make a mark and that in hope would bring economic social and political benefits to Ghana our motherlan. In a related development the press release by Presidential spokesperson Felix Kwakye Offosu indicating that no delegate of the Mahama team at the General Assembly should deal or transact with any body without authorized letter from the Chief of Staff a directly that's timing and will regulate delegates dealings Kudus Research And Advocacy Center gives thumbs up to that moves but not only the thumbs up but make sure it's followed to the latter in achieving its intended purpose

An Important Note:A free consultation advise we are rendering by way of this piece as part of our social cooperate responsibility love patriotism for our country a major stakeholder who wants our country Ghana to succeed not only in the region but in the international front, as an organization who advised and consulted the United State of America 45th and 47th president Donald J Trump major activities and dealings at the 80th session of United Nation General Assembly an important moves in our own way made this piece available to help our motherland Ghana to be in script inline and up to date with current reality and what to expect at the United Nation General Assembly as the United State bond to dictate the pace at the United Nation General Assembly hence the need we made this available for lack of direct access and contact to the president and the presidency of Ghana but that doesn't mean it would be forthcoming all the time in this form but if can officially or professionally get involved it will be a big game changer as many at stake
