The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has declared 67-year-old Ernest Darko Akore wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into suspected corruption and related offenses linked to the controversial Revenue Assurance Contract between the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML).
Mr. Akore, a former Chef de Cabinet (Technical Advisor) at the Ministry of Finance, is the subject of an active arrest warrant issued by the High Court (Criminal Division) under suit number CR/0397/2025, in the case titled Republic v Ernest D. Akore.
The OSP issued a public notice on the matter, urging anyone with information on Mr. Akore’s whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or the Special Prosecutor’s office.
