Today, the 3rd October 2024 marks the 69th Birthday of the man I can confidently call Ghana's Transformational Leader. It is yet another opportune moment, for a republication of the full article on why I follow Alan. This article essentially, offers illumination into the life and philosophies of this phenomenal figure of our time! Happy Birthday to a Great man indeed!

The day, 19th September, 2024, marks exactly a year since I was officially called by the Honorable Alan Kyerematen personally, to serve as one of the young technocrats and a frontline operative for his campaign to lead and transform Ghana. I have since served various units, some concurrently. This includes providing technical inputs to the campaign’s operations’ team for strategy and execution, logistics mobilization and deployment, serving as Frontline Communications Team member, and to my current role as Teams’ Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator. Let me attempt to give an account of that day’s events and considerations which culminated into a full assurance, causing me to respond to his call to this level of service and responsibility that day, last year.

I was still in the NPP and had put together a team of excellent young professionals and patriots under the name; “Alan Rangers,” to advance the campaign of Alan Kyerematen in his bid to lead the party as flagbearer. The team was involved in various unconventional efforts in a guerrilla campaign strategy outside of Chief Alan’s main campaign team. As my manner has been, I had published my latest article at the time, in my series to herald the Profile and Transformational Message of Alan, while exposing the schemes of the inept Akufo-Addo establishment to shortchange the man, on 10th September, 2023; “When Interests Collide: Alan from the Chasm! Abilolo’s Musings.”

This article unbeknown to me, caught the eye of Chief Alan who expressed his delight on that faithful day he called to officially invite me to help the new direction of a youthful movement.

Here, the NPP had finished the special delegates’ election on Saturday, 26th August, 2023 and Alan had withdrawn his candidature from the upcoming phase of the contest, pending what he called, a public announcement of his decision for the next chapter of his political career. Essentially, his main reason for the withdrawal was, whereas the Government had disappointed Ghanaians with bad governance, the Akufo Addo-Bawumia establishment and key architects of this disappointment, would not allow a free and fair delegates’ elections and a full adherence to the party’s founding principles. They were using foul means to deny the Party and Ghanaians, a more competent leader and that, he Alan, was not comfortable with.

In honor of the principle of consistency, many had anticipated Alan was going to leave the party because the very same level of misconducts before, during and after a delegates’ election in 2007, nearly caused his exit from the Party. These misconducts; deviation and degeneration so pervasive in the current NPP, were reasons Alan had written at the time, to party leadership to ensure sanity prevailed or he would leave. Thanks to the intervention of some respectable elders who entreated him with full assurance of some mature and progressive resolution, he stayed and served diligently until it became absolutely clear in the 2023 race, that the NPP party under President Akufo-Addo and Alhaji Bawumia, had finally become a lawless one beyond redemption!

While they anticipated his exit, pressure begun to mount on some of us known advocates of Alan in the party, not to follow him. I had been invited by a number of top government appointees some of whom I hold in good affection, to stay with the NPP no matter who emerged as winner. There are those who had done me favors and had all the promising posture to make sure I had no need of material things once I would stay with the NPP. In fact, I had just returned home from holding a similar passionate conversation on an invitation to the residence of a very kind and distinguished CEO friend on that faithful day, the 19th September. While I went through those intense spikes of emotions to make a choice, I found myself in the washroom to take a long shower.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it was after this unusually long shower, that I came to meet 19 missed calls from the Honorable Alan Kyerematen and yet another which I answered to the nostalgic sound of his voice; “Yah! Hello Michael! How are you doing!?” Stunned! All I could mutter was “Eeeeiiiii Sir!!!” To which he giggled, sending streams of relief down my nerves. Here was Abilolo completely star-stricken! My icon I had taken strong notice of, for his affiliation with Kumasi Academy, my school, had called! He was straight to the point after pleasantries and references to our last meeting, and went ahead to place the request with these opening words; “Errmm Michael, I have decided to restructure the campaign in line with my focus on young people...” I accepted the call, a meeting date was set and the rest is history. Indeed, even while I am unable to express this moment with the choicest of words, the significance of that call to an almost perplexed young man at a decision point would remain a memorial while I sojourn.

I will tell you why this was so significant and worthy of mention. Deep within my considerations to follow or not to follow whatever decision he would make, was the strong point his critics resounded that Alan would never make time for his people enough to call them. In fact, on a heated debate with some persons against Alan, their main issue with him was that he had never called even when they worked for him. Reconciling the turbulent moments to decide on which path to tow on one hand, with for the first time, his 19 calls to me with Hon Gifty Klenam within a space of some 15 minutes, really dispelled all those lingering doubts. The man Alan Kyerematen really, has time for people of value and working with him closely, I have come to learn he builds value in all manner of people he embraces.

With hindsight, I know I can confidently label that day, “the unpleasant decision moment.” Accounting the turbulent moments of considering whether to do the ordinary, the self-serving and most convenient thing to stay with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the political party I had known and loved and so defended all my life at that point where it had become so apparent that the current custodians have no regard for rule of law; or to follow as a Youth Advocate and Development Practitioner so passionate about Ghana’s Development, the man for the Transformation of Ghana. A hope I could draw confidence in with his selection in 1994 by the Times Magazine as the man for this Millennium; amongst 100 global giants like Bill Gates(Microsoft), Jeffery Sachs (Top American Economist trained at Harvard), J.F. Kennedy Jr (Famous son of assassinated US President J.F.K.) etc.; Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, whose highly exceptional global and local Professional achievements, life and very Politics I had followed and admired and so earnestly do, even to date.

In fact, for a young man with deep connections into the Akufo-Addo Presidency even with other key government officials, many who appreciate the level of self-denial in my decision to “lose it all” as our toxic adversarial partisan politics would have it, to follow Chief Alan while he left the NPP, have probably called me a fool. Indeed, some close family members in their typical repugnance for new beginnings; especially when they were yet to come to full terms with the vision at hand to save Ghana from the toxic and counterproductive deeds of the NPP-NDC duopoly, have insulted me to the face. To them, I was choosing to trade connections that would bring me and them, some temporary amusement and gains, to follow Alan’s Movement for Change. The thought of these rebukes as anticipated, made the decision a very tough one for a young man who so needed those connections and the opportunities that would come with them.

Justification for Responding to the Call – Global Examples to Persuade the Well Discerning

First, I thought I would be selfish to stay. Who am I not to leave what has become a lawless party to join a cause for common good for all Ghanaians? At a time, a founding member and the man whose weight and ingenuity created the Young Executives Forum, that funded various initiatives of the party in the early years of its formation, including the first national office building in Accra, had left to create a new direction for development. A direction his beloved NPP had deviated from. A Movement that should deliver the long anticipated Ghanaian Transformation the NPP and NDC in their current divisive regime, have been unable to do.

I believe it is time, in light of all these revelations to descend further into my reasons for committing wholeheartedly to the cause of Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen. The next set of paragraphs carefully weaves into a breastplate of truth for discernment, the peculiar needs and desires of young people in Ghana for ourselves and for the entire country, Alan’s Aspirations, Philosophies and Pursuits as I have come to learn while working closely with him and finally, how his Great Transformational Plan presents the most practical and feasible policy solutions for all young people and even older folks, who mean well for this country. In between these expositions would be narratives from other countries like Benin, China and even America to confirm Alan is really abreast with global Development examples and on track and so poised to deliver Ghana’s Socio-economic Transformation to affirm his well coveted global status as the Transformational Leader for this Millennium. It is interesting to note another person who won this level of recognition from Ghana, has been Dr Kwame Nkrumah, our first President.

Above all else, the Ghanaian youth like all persons who form the main drivers and beneficiaries of development in a developing country, only require Sustainable Development in terms of Socio-economic stability, Livelihood Provisions, Consolations and Security for their future with loved ones. These may be seen in all our pursuits as young people whether it be for Food, Shelter, Clothing, Healthcare, Jobs, Love or any other manifest needs and struggles. Yet it is important to note that the means and control mechanisms to all these needs are enshrined by law, in leadership. Ghanaians with our embrace of rule of law essentially, have given all our powers to the people we vote for, to manage scarce resources judiciously for public good! Thus, contrary to excuses by failed elements in government, that the people must fix themselves, I believe together with American President Truman, that the buck stops with leadership! Global examples have shown this is an altruism!

All that concerns the lives of citizens at the micro levels, are and can be controlled and determined by their leaders. Especially for a developing country, the cost of food, the choice of food, the quality of our water, where to live, which car to drive, how to help others, which school to take your kids, level of education, etc, even to all perilous ends like the ongoing desecration of our land and water resources by Galamsey operators, are and can be determined by the leaders we have. And for a country like Ghana with almost absolute powers for the Executive President and his Vice President, you can imagine the weight decisions and indecisions of leaders exact on the citizenry. Indeed, article 1 of our Constitution lays credence to these powers given to government as it states; “The sovereignty of Ghana resides in the People of Ghana in whose name and for whose welfare, the powers of government are to be exercised in the manner within the limits laid down in this constitution.”

It is sad then, to observe the level of lip service the NPP-NDC duopoly has paid to bridging the inequality gap. They have borrowed so much in our name yet have not been able to secure our welfare as a people. The political class with their appetite for State capture, live in a dollar economy even here in Ghana while the masses whose power they use, wallow in abject poverty. A very good reason Ghanaians stand at a crucial point this election 2024, to either make a paradigm shift for socio-economic transformation with Alan, or further empower the perpetrators of our impoverishment, with a vote for the NPP or NDC.

Choosing Alan Kyerematen as the first independent President would mean Ghana is ready to embark on the journey that has seen China move from a country of peasant farmers in just 3 decades, to a first world country with over 110 modern cities. China took advantage of the global demand for cheap labour and by the power of Policy, attracted giant international brands that wanted efficiency along their production value chain. It appears whereas the West at the fall of slave trade and imperialism could not afford the rising cost of labor and that is when China rose to the global demand that has seen their rapid growth. Unfortunately, around this period where China was consumed with determination to build a rewarding economy that lifts every single Chinese from poverty, Ghana had J.J. Rawlings with his PNDC-NDC, rule for 19 solid years without any proper records of progress for the country. As usual, inequality gaps got widened. This is the hard truth we must admit to ourselves if we can make amends quickly. There was a sharp decline in the country’s Industrial Base as most State companies were run down. He could be credited with some efforts like rural electrification but the nation essentially, was left in ruins which necessitated his successor; President Kufuor’s embrace of a Highly Indebted Poor Country (HIPC) deal to earn somewhat, some respite.

Alan the Shining Star in Government
Ghana’s economy begun to see some stability and growth as the HIPC benefits set in with the Hon Alan Kyerematen, playing critical roles with his legacy projects like the introduction of Anchor Industries to diversify our economy beyond Gold and Cocoa. Indeed, the popular tag; “Golden age of doing Business” given to President Kufuor’s tenure, was possible because Alan Kyerematen with his wealth of experience from Private Sector Initiatives he led like EMPRETEC, and the UNDP’s Enterprise Africa Programme, had some appreciable executive backing to push far reaching policies like the Presidential Special Initiatives(PSI), District Industrialization Program (DIP) and massive investments into Private Sector Businesses, with the creation of agencies like the Microfinance And Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) to ease the burden of Entrepreneurs. Indeed, it is important to note the Textile Industry Alan initiated under the PSIs, came to the rescue of Ghana and neighboring countries almost two decades later with the production of PPEs and Nose Masks, when COVID-19 ravaged lives and properties. It was Alan, who negotiated a deal for Ghana to export its products tax-free into the American market under the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).

This regime had made some great strides compared to the 19-year PNDC and NDC era. President Kufuor’s rule ended with a discovery of oil that would impact the Ghanaian economy greatly under the next leader. Unfortunately, no matter the level of socio-economic gains he had chalked, his wish for yet another NPP rule could not materialize. The NDC won the 2008 elections. Again, as the “winner knows all and takes all” toxic system would have it, a win for the NDC meant a discontinuation of various programmes by the previous government. It was so bad that even the new President, Mills, refused to move the seat of government to the beautiful edifice at Kanda (Jubilee House) built for the State by President Kufuor! It was after his demise that President Mahama chose to move there and guess what, as petty as things could get, he changed the name to “Flagstaff House” which the NPP under President Akufo-Addo later came and changed it back to the present day “Jubilee House!” Lol! Who has bewitched us?

The new NDC government upon inheriting an oil rich economy with some good fiscal space, managed to sustain a single digit inflation for 2 years (2010-2012) and hence, begun to expand services sector but paid little attention to the transformational agenda started by Alan under the President Kufuor regime. Most of the initiatives were left to collapse. This meant it would only take the next external shocks like the international financial crisis for our “Guggisberg economy” largely dependent on importation of goods, to collapse again. We were not producing enough for export so we clearly were not building resilience as a country. Numerous cases of malfeasance on the part of government appointees were recorded. The country begun to incur unsustainable debts with the collapse of businesses amidst frequent power outages (Dumsor) and when our deficit financing regime got out of hands, President Mahama with all his infrastructural works, took the country into the 16th IMF programme. Ghana so badly needed a Transformational Leader! Someone who is legacy minded!

Alan the Shining Star out of Government

Meanwhile on a bigger pursuit as his Vision, Character and Technical Competence would carry him, the whole Ghana even led by President Mahama and the African Union (AU) had endorsed Alan Kyerematen to become the Director General of the World Trade Organization after the tenure of Mr Pascal Lamy, the then Director General. If Ghana was a country that celebrated its heroes, this nomination for one of the 3 top global positions is enough to get us settle on Alan for President. If the whole Africa deemed him fit for World Trade Organization, who amongst our current options, compares to Alan in competent track records and very weight? This is a technocrat Par-Excellence!

He would soon lead the United Nation’s Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and as part of his agenda to boost intra-African trade, Alan set up the African Trade Forum. One of their recommendations was to pursue an Inter-continental free trade area which Alan himself coordinated as the lead architect between 2011 and 2012 and yet again, successfully led Ghana’s bid in 2018 to host the headquarters in Accra. According to the 2012 report from the African Trade Forum, all member States as hinted by Alan, had a responsibility to boost their local production with investments into Industrial Transformation, to fully take advantage of the opportunities AFCTA presents. No wonder he embarked on that ambitious drive as Trade Minister from 2017-2022 to have a Greater Kumasi Industrial Park and over 200 factories and food processing plants, dotted across the country. It is Alan who harnessed the power of Policy to attract 8 giant automobile companies to set up their vehicle assembly plants in Ghana. This he says, is a precondition for his bigger vision for component manufacturing in Ghana as part of his agenda to capture the entire value chain of vehicle production for local and foreign demand.

A decisive victory in the 2016 elections with over a million votes against President Mahama and what had become his popular tag; “the incompetent one,” brought to power President Akufo-Addo and Alhaji Bawumia who according to him (Akufo-Addo), would be the economic wizard to turn around Ghana’s dwindling economy they had inherited. President Akufo-Addo inherited an IMF economy from President Mahama and so his first few years under strict adherence to the dictates of the IMF, saw him make some great strides in the implementation of Free SHS, Rural Dams, Alan’s 1-District-1-Factory Programme, Automotive Development Centre, etc.

Unfortunately, Ghana’s exit from that IMF program meant a leeway into the real lifestyle of the Aristocrat that was hidden in our President and Lord of all. He went on a riotous and cosmetic spending that would so soon lead Ghana to go for the 17th IMF bailout. He would spend 70 million cedis monthly on an adhoc program like the Nation Builders’ Corps (NABCO), and pay lip service to the Industrialization Agenda Alan Kyerematen as Trade minister was pursuing. He ignored the productive sectors like Manufacturing Value Addition(MVA), and spent so much on unprofitable schemes and familial interests.

Here was my very own Akufo-Addo! The man I deemed a refined JJ Rawlings because we thought he would never condone malpractices and malfeasance. Well, with time, his stiff-necked loyalty to people like Ken Ofori-Atta his cousin and former finance minister, proved he just could not bite! It seems to me as soon as the man got free SHS executed, he got swollen headed and left Ghana to the perils of fate in all manner of brutish and uncanny dealings in the hands of his appointees. The country has seen desecration of our rivers under President Akufo-Addo and Alhaji Bawumia at unprecedented levels because they have been numb and almost complicit by their inability to deal head-on with government appointees involved in the perverse deed. Clearly, the NPP too has failed in transforming the Ghanaian economy and nothing revealed the vulnerability of the Ghanaian economy like the 2020 pandemic and the Russian-Ukraine war. Let me state without equivocation that the country was going to fall anyway and these external shocks merely served as catalysts. External ratings predicted so.

At this point, it had become clear that the nation’s best interest has not been served by the NPP and NDC. Ghana so badly needs a new direction with a Transformational leader. Now, who else would best fit this position when Alan Kyerematen with all his strides across Africa and pursuit of a diversified Ghanaian economy is in the race? What has been our lot now with our insistence on the NPP-NDC? With all the Western world’s aversion to Communists rule, the Chinese people have proved with tangible results as the second largest economy in the world now, that development should be carved in Unity around the Pragmatic Solutions of a Transformational Leader. They rallied behind Deng Xiaoping to lead the reforms and big opening of the Chinese economy that has seen it transform into a Socialist Market Economy. I believe we have such an opportune time to set aside the ridiculous claims by elements of the failed duopoly, to adopt the measures in Alan’s Great Transformational Plan under his leadership, to rebuild our country. Like he says all the time, the Great Transformational Plan seeks to engineer the Stability, Growth, Resilience and Prosperity to build an Enterprise Economy so badly needed by every single Ghanaian.

Alan the Industrial Transformation Advocate

Alan has been the only person amongst the options currently available to Ghanaians for President, to herald Rapid Industrialization driven by a robust private sector, as the panacea to Ghana’s ever growing rate of unemployment. For a developing country like Ghana with a large informal sector (75%) and high youth unemployment (65% among 15-24-year-olds) according to the United Nations Human Development Report for 2023 published on 26th June 2024, it is crucial for all well-meaning people to pay attention to Alan’s Plan for an Enterprise Economy. He has lived it and even more, documented the paths in this Great Transformational Plan. Indeed, in a meeting with his team leads, he confessed his hunger to see Ghana Transform, led him to choose the Economic Transformation of Ghana, as his thesis while pursuing Economics at the University of Ghana in the early 70’s.

I have heard a number of advocates for the NPP candidate Alhaji Bawumia, claim Alan’s advocacy for industrialization has lost its relevance. This clearly is an attempt to undermine the very pragmatic proposals Alan makes for job creation and bridging the inequality gap. But one can understand their rage because once the message of Alan sinks, it exposes their phantom digitization mantra. In the popular study to assess the relevance of Industrialization; “The Importance of Manufacturing in Economic Development: Has This Changed?” published in “sciencedirect” in 2017, Nobuya et al, make the following profound conclusion in advancing how crucial an Industrialization Agenda is, to a developing country like Ghana even to date;

“As was the case in the last millennium, industrialization has continued to play a key role in the growth of developing countries, which has sustained rapid and long-term growth for the last 25 years. Achieving economic development by following the path of industrialization, will likely remain important for low income countries. This is because they are able to take advantage of their backwardness relative to those countries which have already experienced rapid industrialization with a disproportionately large share of manufacturing activities, and could soon enter a mature stage of industrialization.”

It is even more instructive to note that contrary to recent claims that Manufacturing Value Addition(MVA) may no longer be relevant for economic transformation, they make strong recommendation for developing countries to copy the Industrial Transformation paths; (thus what stage fits for our peculiar needs), of countries that have been successful, like China. “Given the recent claims about the diminishing significance of manufacturing or the increasing difficulty to pursue economic development by following the conventional path of industrialization, the evidence of the significance of manufacturing remained unaltered in the two periods studied, i.e., 1970–90 and 1990-2013 is of relevance. After its success in labor-intensive industries, China is likely to upgrade its industrial structure following the path of high-income countries. Once this happens, there may be greater opportunities for current low-income countries to pursue manufacturing activities; manufacturing would then perhaps become more, not less, important for them. Thus, the recommendation for developing countries is to not turn away from manufacturing and abandon the path of economic development through industrialization, but to emulate the experience of rapid industrialization that occurred even in recent years.”

Benin’s President Talon, with his Industrialization agenda is a classic example to the feasibility of Industrialization in current pursuits of Socio-economic development. Drawing lessons from Bangladesh which records a whopping 47 billion dollars annually from garment and textiles exports, Benin is currently rallying behind their Business-minded President Talon, to capture and develop the entire value chain for TShirt Production. This means the country is making great investments into Production of Cotton and developing systems to develop yarns and fabric even to the final stage of making the shirts. In essence, cotton is grown, picked, ginned, spun, woven into fabric, dyed, cut and stitched into T-Shirts, all in Benin. The adoption of this value chain under the catch-phrase; “Farm to Fashion,” has been the beginning of Benin’s Industrial Revolution.

Why can’t Ghana’s economy, largely dependent on Agriculture, copy these paths and eschew the contradiction of deceitful men who have nothing to show for their stewardship? It surprises me to see young people defend the phantom digitization campaign message of Alhaji Bawumia, the failed economic messiah. The introduction of machines does not bridge the inequality gap in any way. For a developing country, I believe digital mainstreaming is only secondary to drive efficiency, only after we have built factories and production lines. Indeed, the advent of computers in the 3rd Industrial revolution could only be possible because of the solid foundations of productivity, laid by the 1st and 2nd Industrial revolutions. To the extent that the vice president can herald the 4th Industrial Revolution in the manner he does, I can comfortably conclude he is so cut off from reality and pragmatism in nation building. These are idea redundant leaders striving to hold on to power for self-serving reasons. We need to move our nation to the league of developed countries.

I believe we have enough examples as Ghanaians to vote decisively for Alan to engineer Ghana’s version of an Industrial Revolution with the idea of an Enterprise Economy. We can create opportunities for all Ghanaians to improve their livelihood with an embrace of Alan’s ideas. For instance, his New Agricultural revolution has worked in China, Germany, America and even in present day Benin, we behold the yields. This is a deliberate government policy to farm and add value to primary products, for local and international markets. Within the value chain of various commodities would be regulations and investments for efficiency and rewards for all actors including the farmers who have traditionally earned the least. Farmers would have access to financing and processing plants to help them harness available resources at optimum levels for meeting various market demands and poverty eradication. Over a million jobs could be created within the value chain of each commodity with just the New Agricultural Revolution. Benin’s ever growing Cotton to T-shirts industry is living proof that unemployment would see a massive decline, with such a deliberate effort by government to harness various commodities with strong private sector participation.

Conclusion - The Alan I have Come to Know - The Utilitarian and Taskmaster

Yet another reason I follow Alan is because beyond his demonstrable appetite for structural inputs for creating and strengthening systems; A legacy-minded man making impact with sound policies that solve everyday problems, he is genuine and firm in his decisions and efforts to realize same. Of course, it would be impossible for him to have lived and achieved all these great feats without these traits. These are traits you would find in all the Transformational Leaders that emerged globally in history. For the utility man I have come to know, Alan is constantly on a drive to find the next available way to get things done effectively and efficiently. You would so soon become obsolete around him if you do not strive for value in meeting the objectives he sets for you. He is a Taskmaster who never gets weary seeing through execution. His extremely meticulous self would make a lazy and laid back person around him, run for cover! He is constantly striving for mastery and excellence even in reviewing documents and would constantly say; “there is no meaningless detail.” This he would say, while making sure every letter, word, phrase, sentence and punctuation, in a document under review, makes sense.

For Alan, losing sleep to get things done timely, is a hallmark. He would often quiz; “How are people able to sleep when there is so much to be done?” Unfortunately, those who hate to get better, in their obsolete state, misconstrue this productivity drive as some weakness in his people management. Many numb souls with no regard for learning, have complained about this. Some have even left the fold and that is understandable.

However, my experience into political campaigns and managing project teams, have revealed to me different kinds of personalities and interests at play when these sentiments are shared. There are those who solve problems and in sharp contrast, there are those who want to flaunt big titles with nothing to show for. The problem solvers continue to win favor with people like Alan who want to get things done, whereas the latter by their posture, continue to move about with bruised egos. This is a faithful saying!

I believe it is safe to end on this note. For to the writing of many sentences to advance the Competence, Character, Vision and Plans of Alan for Ghana, there can be no end. We have a choice between the usual counterproductive politics of chaos by going for either of the NPP-NDC duopoly on one hand, and one fashioned after decency, productivity, opportunities, rewards and prosperity for all with Alan Kyerematen. Alan shows in the Great Transformational Plan, practical measures to harness thoroughly the first, second, third and fourth industrial revolutions where necessary, to fix Ghana. Unlike those engaged in contradictory speeches, slogans and schemes to amuse voters rather than to solve any of our problems.

In essence, Alan’s policy proposals in the Great Transformational Plan will fix the economy, create the needed climate like an efficient tax regime to boost private initiatives, deal with youth unemployment and poverty, raise a formidable standard against corruption, foster accountable and responsible governance, assess and rebuild an efficient public sector bureaucratic regime with constitutional reforms, promote meritocracy and a government of national Unity and build working systems across all spheres of our lives as Ghanaians. I am clear and very much strengthened in my convictions to rally support for these ideas because the man speaking about them, has the full capacity as I behold his ingenuity daily in marvel, to execute each component he touches.

I am sure Ghana will rise to the call. We have enough knowledge to redeem us from perishing in the hands of the NPP-NDC duopoly and then of a surety, we will beat our chest and say; Ghana Will Rise Again! With Alan Kyerematen, our Transformational Leader!
