NPP Must Choose Kennedy Agyapong—Not Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia

Both Kennedy Agyapong and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia have strong ties to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and are qualified to lead Ghana. However, Kennedy Agyapong presents a more compelling choice for the party’s future.

Dr. Bawumia and President Nana Akufo-Addo’s eight-year economic struggles have left lasting wounds on the people, especially the youth. Bawumia, heavily involved in economic policies, will have to answer for the country’s financial downturn, including excessive borrowing and reliance on the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In contrast, Kennedy Agyapong, despite his outspoken and controversial nature, stands as a candidate who can restore hope and credibility to the NPP.
