
The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) is scheduled to carry out planned maintenance works at the Mallam Bulk Supply Point on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., according to a statement released by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
The maintenance is aimed at enhancing service delivery and ensuring reliability across affected areas during and after the upgrade.
As announced by ECG, the planned works will result in temporary power outages in several parts of Accra, including Odorkor, Awoshie, Sakaman, Mallam, Darkuman, Santa Maria, Kwashieman, Sowutuom, Ablekuma, Tabora, Joma, Manhean, Gbawe, Weija, West Hills Mall, Oblogo, Anyaa, Bortianor, McCarthy Hills, Mandela, Sunda Industries, Tuba, Dunkonah, and Dansoman.
“ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise,” the statement said.
The company urged customers in the affected areas to take necessary precautions and assured them of the swift restoration of power upon completion of the maintenance.
