Burkina Faso: US Threat Against Pres. Ibrahim Traore

The Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, Sen. Roger F. Wicker:

I’m bringing you and the Armed Services Committee members warm greetings.

May I respectfully and humbly ask what your plans to wit American government's plans for Burkina Faso are? I and millions of Africans and non-Africans are shocked to learn your lines of questions and assumptions which prompted Gen. Michael Langley commanding AFRICOM to make such careless yet imperialistic comment that is outright fabrication or lies about Burkina Faso and President Ibrahim Traore.

This televised manipulatory and bullying tactic has captured the world wide web and Africans and their friends all over the world aren’t only talking but practically upset. As you're aware, Traore is a young man and one of the youngest if not the youngest president in the world.

He's done so much for his people during these serious insecurity and hardship experiences which he and his teams are working hard to address. And much of the insecurity, hunger and pain are because of small arms peddled from Libya and allegedly Western-sponsored terrorists after America under Pres. Obama unlawfully and criminally led NATO to invade and destroy Libya.

It killed its so-called long-sought enemy, Muammar Gaddafi, who reportedly rejected US-Western dictatorship, and destroyed the once beautiful country which reportedly had no debt and had some enviable developments which directly impacted and made better the lives of Libyans now ravaged by Western-engineered yet unwarranted crisis and wars.

The country's citizens today can picture the difference between an exciting life with its challenges that neither America nor Europe is immune, under Gaddafi and complete ruination after the invasion. Meanwhile, the activities of Pres. Traore are public knowledge and need no lies as were told by Gen. Langley in seeming agreement with what appeared to be your prevarication and assumptions. Please take a moment to research the successes of Pres. Traore who has reportedly escaped about 20 assassinations for choosing self-determination and sovereignty of his people over France and American imperialism.

Why should Burkina Faso's use of its gold and other resources to defend the country and its president become American problem or business yet you've veterans who have honorably served the country and other citizens' homelessness, inequality, gun violence and hardship to deal with? Isn't this what America and other governments in Europe and elsewhere do; and why is America and Europe fond of assassinating African leaders doing right by their people then turn around to call the continent "shithole" and poor? Why not leave African resources alone for Africans if the West is so rich, smart and powerful, and survive alone, or do business respectfully with Africans instead of the slave master-slave-mentality and approach currently in place?

This is becoming too ridiculous and shameful, or should I say shameless, as America and Europe have proven they can't mind their business nor survive on their own without unjust manipulation and brigandage. Take the China's example. America has become rattled, disoriented and petty because the Chinese once vilified by her and the West suddenly became self-sufficient through hits and misses, hard work.

China is today a global manufacturing center and one of the foremost lenders the America government depend on. Irrespective of alleged bad trade and innovative practices which America and European governments and corporations aren't innocent, its crimes are that while America is busy complaining and looking for means to circumvent so that it can stay on top and dominate, it's doing better development wise.

China is reportedly competing highly with the U.S., Europe, and beating the West in many aspects of science and technology alongside artificial intelligence while improving the quality of life of its citizens. It's lifted millions out of poverty and created several thousands of millionaires despite negative narratives and propaganda coming from America and the West, the so-called mainstream media that are now less relevant to global discourse courtesy the Internet and social media technology.

But why should America be perceived as the only place on earth where the sun shines and people smile and are happy though the reality is starkly opposite with bad healthcare system, unfair and unjust criminal justice, poor education system with high debts accumulated by students, most of whom can't find work in their fields of study, and doing poorly in other areas, yet the rich and corporations have become richer on taxpayer subventions, cruel capitalism right?

Of course, you're a Republican representing Mississippi, Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, and have been watching Mr. Trump recently convicted of 34 felony counts throw the country into a huge mess. This is to the extent that common eggs now cost over six dollars ($6.00) per crate. What about the alleged insider trading, mass firing and destruction of so-called DEI while embracing a seeming "White Only" autocracy, fascism hence retributive justice you're bearing witness as a lawyer?

Have you and other senators, congressmen and women of the GOP stock said or done anything that attempt to change the trajectory? If not, as it could, why focus on African country, which America cares not about but sanctioned for asserting its rights the same way America does? Evidently, most Africans and their friends globally are unhappy with the manner America and the West, European nations have continued to see, disrespect and mistreat Africans like perpetual slaves having imposed on the continent the worst of human wickedness and destructive instinct during and after slavery. Could you please rethink your seeming colonial activities toward Africa, Burkina Faso's president in particular?

Why should about 30 American military bases be scattered throughout Africa, is Africa in America, is America Africa or does America own Africa? Will America allow any African or non-African country set up military bases near America or to control its resources; what benefit are American bases to Africa but for such covet plans and activities as cogitated by Gen. Langley and the U.S. government?

Yes, it’s to undermine African sovereignty, plan coups and take out respected African leaders such as Pres. Traore so that Africa will remain American, Western, and European cow to force milk from. Are Africans your slaves? No, we aren’t, slavery has been over and the era of religious and otherwise indoctrination, and cultural imperialism leading to African docility is over!

Why expect Africans to accept what Americans will not accept; and why are African countries sanctioned for being self-sufficient, self-determined and sovereign yet these are core principles of independence? And why is it an issue if African states choose not to obey or carry out American policies such as the imposition of homosexual regime even though America didn’t easily and haven’t fully accepted homosexuality?

Why sanction Africans for amending colonial inspired land laws and demand that they protect white lands and wealth amassed during the colonization of African states to the detriment of Africans, yet you will not accept the same? Why are these condescending and exploitative demands, and what does sovereignty mean to America, does it mean the control and domination, exploitation of Africa, others, and hegemony?

Why continue to preach or lie about civil and people's governance misnamed democracy which America doesn’t have but continue to meddle into African affairs against international norms that include the nonintervention clause, Article 2 (7) of the United Nations Charter?

Lastly, let it be known that Africa and the world will hold you, Gen. Langley, and the U.S. government accountable if America or France, other Western proxies assassinate Pres. Traore like they did Pres. Patrice Lumumba, Gaddafi; and they overthrew Pres. Kwame Nkrumah, the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther, King, Jr., and Malcolm X by American government, and many other Africans who stood and fought for the human and civil rights, the liberation and freedom of Africans in the continent and in diaspora.

Africa deserves unhindered breather in a breathable space so that it can redirect its life for the greater good of Africans just like it's America and Americans first, France and the UK, and the larger Europe or even China, Japan and others' first. This is a basic or rudimentary doctrine of international relations, national interest first, right?

Why then does Africa's become a crime? Africans and the world are watching, and we will and are diplomatically and skillfully, intellectually resisting all attempts to further subjugate Africa. We’ve a responsibility and duty to resist and denounce all threats to assassinate Pres. Traore, or any other people-oriented African leader or president. Enough of these slave and colonial masters’ mentality: gross manipulation, dehumanization, exploitation, dividing and conquer, control and domination of Africa.
