The Minister for Interior, Mr Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, and the British High Commissioner to Ghana, H. E. Harriet Thompson, have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the robust bilateral ties between both countries.

This discussion took place during a courtesy call by the High Commissioner to the Minister's office on Monday in Accra.

The meeting highlighted the strong diplomatic relationship between the United Kingdom and Ghana, focusing on enhancing cooperation within the security sector.

Mr Muntaka expressed appreciation for the longstanding partnership, emphasizing ongoing collaborations in law enforcement training, counter-terrorism and border security management.

The Minister reiterated Ghana's dedication to deepening these ties to foster shared prosperity and improved security for both countries.

The conversation also underscored the importance of continuous dialogue to address emerging challenges, such as cybersecurity threats and transnational crime.
