The Ministry of Finance has announced the appointment of U.S.-based economist Dr. Saed Iddrisu and seasoned journalist Raymond Acquah to key advisory roles within the ministry.
An internal memo dated March 11, 2025, and signed by Chief Director Eva Esselba Mends, confirmed the appointments, which have also been communicated to all divisional directors, as well as the Minister and Deputy Minister.
Dr. Iddrisu will take on the role of Economic Advisor, Research, bringing his expertise in economic analysis to support policy development. Meanwhile, Acquah, a well-known anchor at Joy FM, has been appointed as Technical Advisor, Strategic Communications, where he will lead efforts to enhance public engagement and communication strategies.
Their appointments signal the ministry’s commitment to strengthening economic research and improving transparency in its public outreach.
