Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has claimed that if elections were held today the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will emerge victorious.
According to the Member of Parliament for the Effutu Constituency, the National Democratic Congress’ government hasn’t fulfilled its promises, arguing that the ruling party will be voted out if Ghanaians get the chance to vote now.
Afenyo-Markin made this comment while reacting to Majority Leader, Mahama Ayariga’s statement that the NDC has fulfilled its promises to Ghanaians so far.
“You have not fulfilled your promises to Ghanaians. So many of the promises have not been fulfilled so what is the majority leader saying? If elections are held today the NDC will lose,” he stated.
Afenyo-Markin also dared the president and the NDC to organize a fresh election if they believe in the work they have done in government so far.
“If the NDC believes they have fulfilled their promises they should tell the President to organize an election today and they will see what will happen,” he added.
